Clean - spacious - modern - delicious breakfast

The air conditioner does not work well, the reception is closed most of the time, and the alternative method of reception does not solve the problem

Beautiful new hotel with lovely furniture and a nice view of horses in the field.

We had problems checking in with the machine at the hotel (after 7pm). This can be avoided by giving the names of all persons, when booking more then one room. Nevertheless, calling the number presented at the machine immediately helped solving the problem. It‘s not in the city center, but next to the motorway.

Late check-in was seemlessly easy, really enjoyed the automated system in place. Room was super clean, spacious, modern, I liked the touch-control hub for all lights in the room. Only awkward thing, the shower curtain blocks out the bathroom light so you have to shower with it open, and the bathroom window opens on to the road. Otherwise, really great place, exactly what i want out of a work hotel.

the hotel sells that all rooms have. kitchenette, but there’s no appliances (like pans, cooking ware, nothing) and if you want you can request and pay 20 CHF. Not very fair to me. there’s a cooktop but you don’t have anything in the room to use it.

-Good location for business travel. Near motorway, town, and nearby business park. -Stylish room -Excessively large amount of storage spaces (wardrobes and shelves). -Free parking. -Good coffee.

Poor comfort due to beddings, lighting, and dust: NOT RECOMMENDED IF ALLERGIC TO DUST & MITES -Poor quality of pillows (old, clumpy, synthetic, not anti-allergic, poor pillow support, no second sleeping pillow). It is a nightmare for someone who suffers with even a light dust allergy, or for people with neck and back problems who need reasonable pillow support. Quality of sleep is the one thing I demand, and I certainly didn't get it here. Very disappointing. -Poor air quality: surprising amount of dust build up on surfaces and floating in the air. The rooms need some serious attention like airing more frequently and more thorough hoovering. -Mattress rather hard and bouncy. It could become a problem when two people are sleeping on it. -The gimmicky light zones control and poor choice of white lighting, and lack of night lighting, has an impact on comfort. -No iron provided in the room, which is not great for business travellers, especially when the part-time 'reception' is not punctual with the stated opening time in the morning. -Self check in: no staff to assist after hours. Lack of a classic reception desk who can immediately resolve problems. There is a manager's desk on the second floor, but it is only staffed during normal work hours. -The kitchenette comes with no cutlery or any basics at all, rendering it rather useless. -Wi-fi password not provided in the room's documentation. Thankfully the bar-restaurant was still open at 11pm, which was the only reason I managed to connect to Wi-Fi on the first evening. -Very basic continental breakfast with bare minimum options. -The main road in front of the hotel gets very busy at peak hours, from 7am already. The sound insulation is not too bad but the room is not completely quiet. -Petrol-station view.
