Charming Hotel in a great neighborhood that immediately makes you feel at home in Milan.

Perfect location to be away from the crazy but close enough to get there and enjoy for a day! Near a train stop which was perfect and the restaurants about 10 min walk are more yummy than near Duomo!

It is very convenient with a supermarket next door. There is small training room.

This was my second stay at Hotel Capitol, and I will come back again! The staff here are WONDERFUL, and do everything they can to meet your needs. The furnishings are stately, only slightly worse for the wear. It is a lovely quiet sanctuary in the heart of Milan, with continent food and shopping available. Rooms are ‘cozy’.

The hotel was outdated, and nothing like the pictures. The bathroom was not as clean as I imagined, and the AC in our bedroom did not work. We tried to call reception but the phone also didn’t work. There are also no plug points besides the bed which is really annoying as you want to charge your phone next to you but you can’t. We asked for a smoking room and was not given one. We also heard someone trying to open our door at 6AM. We were scared and felt as though we were not safe. We kept on hearing a trolley outside our room at early hours where we knew staff would not be around so early. The breakfast was extremely limited, it had barely anything. Was very disappointed in this. The only good thing about the hotel is that it is very close to the Metro.

This is a charming property. The room was small but well appointed, clean and comfortable. The centro is a bit of a walk from this property, about 20/30 minutes, but it is a safe, interesting walk with lots of shops and restaurants along the way. The area right around the property has many shopping and dining options. I would stay here again. The front desk staff was very helpful.

Good location to public transportation yet quiet. Front counter staff were responsive, helpful and eager to assist. Restaurant however has limited service and required advanced reservation for dinner even though it was not full.

Great customer service! The staff was super helpful and friendly. The suite was very large and roomy with a jacuzzi. The bed was very comfortable, and the black out drapes were great since we were in a high floor. It’s pretty much quiet, but you can hear sirens if they pass close to the hotel— but definitely did not hear any neighbors. My husband and I specifically came to Milan for the F1 Monza race and it was easy to get taxis to/from the hotel. Lulu, the concierge, was AMAZING! She recommended an amazing restaurant for my birthday and was also super friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

very nice morning buffet! All the necessary supplies were available. They provided disposable slippers also. Late night check-in and early morning check-out available.

I think this hotel is so good.

The subway is a 2 minute walk from the property. You are not a 10 minute walk to any major attraction. Overall, the kitchen staff was great. The lobby staff was okay. I like that the hotel had lobby staff 24 hours a day. The room is tight. It was difficult to get in and out of the shower because you have to climb over a tall bathtub

Nice hotel in great area just west of the Center and a couple blocks from the Metro. Rooms were very clean and stylish (though on the small side even for Europe). Staff were warm and continuously helpful. Would definitely come back and recommend to others.

Very charming hotel in a residential quiet area. Very beautifully decorated. The staff is very attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The shower was put all the way in the corner, so you had to lean against the walls to get wet. Even worse there was terrible noise insulation, so you could hear every time someone used water - plus some generator outside also made noise. Also a very small tv. Overall quite disappointing for a fairly expensive supposedly 4-star hotel.

main dissapointment for me was the air con advertised when booking was turned off. Resul was a room that was too warm for a comfortable nights sleep.When i queried this response was it was October so turned off. i would not have booked this hotel if i had known this. Air con was advertised and first thing i select on preferences. No hot water first morning, plumbing problems, this happens, ok next 3 days. Continental breakfast was disappointing compared to other hotels. Recommend spending 10 euro elsewhere. Picture of breakfast on front desk definitely doesn't reflect current offering! Staff were really attentive and helpful. Good location close to Red line Metro. No complimentary water in room.

Capitol is in a good location and has good decor, strange access to an elevator, very friendpy staff. However the bathroom in my room showed signs of age and neglect with moldy tub seals and stained toilet.

In a mixed residential and commercial area, this small hotel offers extremely friendly service and clean, very charmingly decorated rooms at a fair price. Be prepared to take a taxi to anything worth seeing in Milan, though, as the Capitol is definitely not walkable. The reception staff, while very well meaning, are ill equipped to cater to tourists (i.e., no city map with highlights, no recommendations of where to eat or what to see). Parking on the streets nearby is available and easy, once you figure out the arcane metering system. Bathroom was back-breakingly tiny. The caponata from the restaurant was outstanding.
