welcome and check in was horrible, one picks the rirz because of the magic it brings along, this stay started off horribly. i wanted to turn around and leave instantly. however, the staff listened to how unhappy i felt and made the rest of our stay magical as expected. other than that, the ritz is the ritz, amazing room, food, views, and after being disappointed in the beginning a lot of attention to detail in the end.

The hotel, especially the grounds and views were amazing! 10/10! The hotel has a beautiful pool view, ocean view and mountain view! The rooms were beautiful and kept well. The staff would not let you lift a finger. I had a late flight and I was allowed a 3pm check out at no cost! I did come across some amazing staff that went above and beyond, extremely inviting and friendly and I would like to mention by name: Fajrul and Zablon from the outside pool bar and restaurant which was my fave place.. and Blaise who was our waiter who never stopped smiling at the 1st floor restaurant and the lovely Manval (names could be spelled wrong) from the same restaurant were so accommodating and warm… oh and that restaurant had the best buffet I had ever been to! So much variety.. just a great experience. I hope to be back one day.

Everything is excellent and superb. Pick this place if you want to experience true relaxation!

Al round 5 star Exceptional staff

Amazing start to finish, staff always eager to help. The minibar fridge packed in, and they replaced it with a brand new fridge within minutes! Attention to detail was amazing like remembering my coffee order each morning before me even saying. The Atrium Lobby is the single most spectacular lobby I have ever seen in my life, with the gorgeous chandeliers and intricate work on the high ceiling. Pictures and videos don’t do it justice. 4 pools, including a women’s only pool and women’s only beach which I appreciated. Never over crowded or busy, I guess people haven’t figured out this holiday spot yet. I hope it stays that way! All you can eat lobster at the the seafood buffet which was a real treat. And a massive farewell at our last dinner at the Pavillion where they went the extra mile. We were treated like royalty at the Bustan Palace and will certainly pay be back. I have been thoroughly spoiled and no other hotel chain will ever compare. Dare I say the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

Some times there is conferences and officials delegate from different countries and that make a the hotel busy and full of guards .. in the middle of a resort which make it unpleasant

Very nice stay in your hotel with a very friendly team and a fantastic garden. A special thank to Nasser ( he is responsible for the beach chairs) and the responsible person for the breakfast and dinner in the Al Khiran restaurant (works there for more than 20 years). They are very courteous.

This is my favourite hotel in the world - have been coming for 20 years - stunning scenery, the most beautiful lobby in the world and excellent staff. Executive suite was great, food excellent, staff great - Thaw in the spa gives a great massage and Baulkar in the main restaurant is the smartest guy in the hotel. A must visit location

Stayed for last night of our honeymoon. They went above and beyond to make it special with a surprise in our room and the best seat in the house for dinner, right on the beach. The Friday brunch was excellent - bring your appetite - and the staff (especially Victor) really made us feel at home. Ideal, top quality place to relax on the beach or by the pool, within driving distance of sights in Muscat.

The beach has washed away so it's just rocks now, so not really a useable beach resort. If you don't book restaurants days in advance you don't get a table. The rooms are from the 1980s it feels like; old and tired. For the price it's massively underwhelming.

أرى أن الاقامة في الفندق كانت جميلة، الفندق من حيث الخدمة ممتاز ومن حيث الاستقبال ايضاً، الموظفين في قمة الاخلاق والاحترام والذوق، قوائم الطعام تحتاج الى مراجعة خصوصا في المطاعم في الفندق لا توجد العديد من الخيارات خصوصا للنباتيين، الفندق مناسب للاستجمام والاسترخاء وهو بعيد عن المدينة ويصعب الحصول على سيارة اجرة بسهولة، لذلك عليكم الطلب المسبق، مساحة الغرف ممتازة وواسعة

Amazing hotel. But it used to be better a few years ago during my first stay. Corona left its marks.

Excellent food and service. Lovely setting with the mountains and a great pool. Perhaps a few updates/maintenance needed e.g. tennis courts and gym needed a bit of TLC but still very useable. Not particularly eco friendly with disposable plastic bottles everywhere and a fair amount of plastic washing up on the beach uncollected but I’d say this would be the same at all hotels in Oman sadly. All in all a great stay. Recommend renting a car if you plan to leave the hotel at all as it’s out of the way.

The garden is huge and landscaping is excellent covered by grass and palm trees along the private beach. Pool and kids wading pool is excellent too.
