The restaurant staff for the morning breakfast were all excellent!

Good location. Pool was closed since May. No heads up provided or I would have gone elsewhere. Rooms were not adjoining or even next to each other. My room smelled like a wet mop. Adam from maintenance came up, agreed it smelled weird, but couldn't do anything about it. He was great, (not his fault).
Hotel couldn't change our rooms to another floor or move me to a room on the same floor.
Refrigerator was warm when we checked in. Had to crank it up. It should be cold when you check in.

We stayed one night. The property was nice, cleaned, and accessible (via walking) to downtown. The staff were pleasant. I would stay here again.

Great location, but either Hotels.com or the hotel itself should have made it know the pool is under construction and that they overbooked king size bed rooms.
I should have asked for a discount.

Just a 1 night stay with 2 young grandkids traveling home from week at Bald Head Island NC. In my 6 decades of family/business travel I'd rate this hotel as a low 4 out of 5. Huge cost for mediocre accommodations compared to much cheaper stays along and interstate. Oh... 2:00am charge of $25 for parking lot parking at hotel followed by trying to get you to pay $25 when you leave the next morning. Buyer beware.... much better for much less just around the corner!

Bathroom was not clean. Sink cold water faucet leaked. Toilet looked like it did not flush but it is just stained - should be exchanged out. Long black hairs in the tub.
Coffee cups were not replaced at all.

The room itself was good at first glance. But then we started noticing wet spots on the carpet. One of our bags took in the moisture, so some of our clothes were smelly and the ones at the bottom, a little damp .It was the air conditioner unit. We put towels down and Told the lobby about this. Everyone I had encountered in the lobby was amazing except for the guy I dealt with with this. He was so extremely rude and offered literally coins so we could dry our clothes in the dryers. then when we came back from day out, the towels were still there, so not sure if they sent maintenance The towels were disgusting orange color from whatever was in the carpet.
and if you want some ice cream on the cake. We did not have an iron in the room, the fridge didn’t work, the hairdryer would only stayed off for 30 minutes and the coffee pot on pff botton did not work.

Our hotel room smelled musty and was completely damp by the window. This could be from all the rain from the week. Not a hugely big deal, but the sheets had self tanner (???) on them as well as the pillows and towels. I wasn’t impressed the cleanliness.
The staff was very friendly, the hotel room had beautiful views and it’s very walkable to amenities.

I did not sleep because I was so grossed out by the lack of cleanliness. Upon arrival, the room smelled strongly like feet. When I showered this morning, there was a used wash cloth with pubic hair in the shower, leading me to believe that the room had not been cleaned after the last guest. Overall, very uncomfortable night.

Pretty solid place, only downside is the walls are paper thin. Doesn't work well when bad parents let their bad kids scream and slam stuff early in the morning. Also, the toilets would randomly flush, it was odd.

As a local who was staying here business while living in charlotte for a bit, i was excited about my stay. However, i found that the room was in suprisingly bad condition! I had a huge divot in the mattress where others had worn it down when sleeping, the curtians had fallen off track and didnt close fully, and there we many places where thw furniture had been scratches and paintes over resulting in a very worn out look. I had assuned this property would be in vetter shape and was somewhat disappointed by my stay.

Very nice hotel. Great location to walk easily into Asheville. Front desk employees were not real friendly. Room was clean and comfortable but there seemed to be air in the plumbing lines that made a lot of noise, onetime in the middle of the night.
Breakfast buffet was good nothing real fancy but enough to have coffee and a bite to eat.

I booked this property for the start of summer vacation. The pool and hot tub was closed, plaster falling off the ceiling in my room. A/C noisy and didn’t work well. When I called the desk or house keeping no answer. No wash clothes. Coffee horrible. No microwave. Good location. Will not recommend.

This is a great conference hotel, and is a very convenient spot to stay to walk into downtown Asheville. Although there was a large conference going on while we were there, I think the hotel could pay more attention to their upkeep and cleaning of common areas.

Was not very clean. It looked like someone had stuck pubic hair to the ceiling above the shower. The USB port in my lamp didn’t work but the hotel switched it out for me. The floor lamp didn’t work either but I didn’t feel like contacting the front desk a second time. Showtime didn’t work in the room. Very limited tv channels. There was no desk in the room either. The pillows were very flat. Shower liner didn’t look very clean.
