I think what allows them to charge their prices and absorbent fees is their location. The comforter on the bed was really just a thick bedsheet. There was old food left in our refrigerator. We ordered towels that never came. Just a bunch of different things that didn’t make the trip as enjoyable as it could’ve been
The hotel seem to be hosting a prom or some type of high school gathering every single night that we were there and the $25 resort fee they charge you for their stores but the stores would close what I would consider early was a unique experience.

Hotel was nice and clean although the rooms were a little dated. No fans in bathrooms, dated bathroom decor and carpet in the room. They charge a $25/day destination fee that's refundable with food/beverage purchase at the hotel. They didn't tell me upon check-in that needed to be per day. So even though we spent $500 in one day only $25 of the $75 we were charged were refunded. Also - Shula's restaurant in the hotel was the worst meal we've had for the price. Service was good but the food was less than average for what we spent. The wine list was also below average. It was very disappointing. The location of the hotel was great but there are many other options that we would consider before the Sheraton when we return.

The property was conveniently located and in walking distance to major attractions. It was also clean and the housekeeping personnel.We're very nice. I did not like a destination fee charge that was mandatory and not disclosed when I made my reservation. I did not like that the van service we contracted with was unable to pick us up directly in front of the Hotel. We had to walk out to meet him while other patrons were able to have there transportation pull up. I felt that this was discriminatory.

Internet did not work, coffee machine was broken, they failed to clean our room on the second day despite us calling three times, old hotel overall.
Nice view and the cleaning staff was great.

They charged me hundreds of dollars for the room that I already paid through Expedia.
When I called them for refund, they said it will be refunded in 7business days, and it is there for some reason that they don’t know and I need to wait. Another task on my tondo list!
It has been 9 business days and it’s still there! I am pretty sure they are trying to make me forget about it and they will never cancel that charge. And I am telling this to make other customers aware of this scam. You need to check your credit card transactions after a few days you leave the hotel. I can’t believe that Sheraton is doing this fraud. But they are doing it! Be careful…

The rooms were just average. No mini frig or microwave to use when needed. Tv was set to full volume if you wanted to use your own streaming device. Alot of channels were not available and could not watch the sporting events we wanted to in the room. Extra charges were ridiculous!! Destination fee for every day as well as self parking fee of $68 daily, which is very high considering its not valet. Upon returning hone, new pending fees of $600 pending...just too many fees for less than top notch amenities. Best part of the room was the view which we paid extra for. So a two night trip after all the hidden fees was $1500. Read the fine print!!! Will never return to this property.

Be aware of when they charge your credit card when being checked in, I was charged twice for $782! When I was supposed to be charged $125 for incidentals only! Then they said they will charge back my card in 3-5 business days. I was without a credit card for I had left all my cards at home. I had exceeded my credit amount! I was not happy with Kyle (front desk manager) he was very rude and condescending when I was explaining what the receptionist had done, he was not helpful

The view from our room was FABULOUS!!!! We were on the 24 th floor and looked out onto the lights of the Chicago River and buildings!!! We were so happy to be able to sit and enjoy this beautiful city and watch all of the activities on the water. The food and the service was great!!!

The hotel service was good. They had some hidden fee we had to pay. Even with $25 credit each day, it didn’t match to what I want to order for my 5 person family members, so I had to pay much extra to have a simple meals, but the food quality was great.

As stated in other reviews, the location is the best part of this hotel. The interior of the rooms desperately needs to be replaced. Still has popcorn ceilings. Looks like it was furnished in the 1980s. The room service is absurdly overpriced. Paid $40 for a burger and fries.

Front desk was amazing upon arrival ~ even got a free upgrade but when I went to took a shower that night, the shower-head sprayed the entire bathroom: ceiling, mirror, flooring ~ everywhere but me. Called mtnce, said they would move us to another room. We asked if it could be fixed the next day while we were out... well they came & did something but NOT fixed! Relayed the info to the front desk ~ very apologetic, gave me a credit and added points to my acct. Definitely need to train mtnce better!!!
