Almost all the staff were perfect, kind and polite. The hotel was clean and airy. Location was great.

It was a great location, great views. But it was not really clean, specially a bathroom,and shower with mold. And you can hear a full conversation our neighbor had, thin walls.

I booked a room at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott through Hotels.com, with the arrangement to pay on site. However, my credit card was charged significantly more than the confirmed rate.
When I tried to resolve the issue by contacting the hotel, the phone number on their website was non-functional, making it impossible to reach anyone. I then contacted Hotels.com for assistance and am still awaiting a resolution.
This has been a very frustrating experience, and I believe the Norfolk Waterside Marriott could significantly improve their customer service.

Room was nice and bed was comfortable. View from 14th floor was good. The hallways on our floor was kept extremely cold. Dining options at the hotel were good and there are plenty of options nearby.

The hotel has been updated. The room was relaxing. Hotel is close to shopping and restaurants. Easy access to the ferry, which is $4 round trip per person. Must have exact change. The Visitor center is directly across the street.
Downside- the indoor pool is about 70°. No hot tub. Our air conditioning did not work property. It was set on 67° but never reached under 71°. It was hot and humid.

Property’s location is great. Most of the staff were very kind and helpful especially Corey at the front desk and a gentleman that worked at the valet parking area when we arrived around 5:30 pm. There was another front desk staff member that was very kind but I can’t remember her name. The room was clean and spacious.

We had a great trip and stay. The front desk staff was super friendly and she went out of her way to make sure we had a good stay! Very professional and helpful with neighbors hood dining options. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

The room was too hot, we got offered a fan which helped alittle but for nearly £800 for three nights I’d expect the air conditioning to work.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are generally well kept and updated but common areas are starting to show some wear and tear. The location is convenient for my visits and there are good options nearby to eat.

The Waterside area was a busy place several years ago with many restaurants and things to do. That has changed. The area has fewer restaurants and fewer things to do that will attract visitors.
The hotel pool and restaurant are okay. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I had a great stay. Only there for the weekend but had a beautiful view and staff was very accommodating. I only had one issue with my air conditioning but other than that I would stay there again.

The pool area looks nice on the surface but it’s definitely in need of A LOT of cleaning & repairs. You can see a line of filth on each white height marker tile inside the pool. There are open holes where pool safety railings were removed in MULTIPLE spots. Moldy & mildewy ceiling tiles. Pieces of the “stucco” ceiling parts were falling off. Holes in ceiling. You can’t sit on the pool ledge with your feet in the water because the floor paint is peeling off and will get all over your hands, legs, & swimsuit. Gray electrical box is coming right off the wall on post next to the pool.

Always respectable service and clubroom is always on point.. I wish they had an outside pool, but my daughter enjoyed the inside pool so I guess that’s what matters. The corner rooms are always the best. Valet service was also great.
