Great place with beautiful facilities

I like how clean the hotel is n welcoming staff.

We had an excellent stay at Delta By Marriott Detroit Airport . The staff was amazing. Friendly and accommodating. The bar/restaurant food and service was equally amazing!! Justin is doing a great job with the hotel and staff. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

PROS - Hotel is adequately clean (I only saw the lobby and our booked room. - There is airport shuttle available. - Front desk staff was competent (but not cordial). CONS - Whoever booked us gave us the farthest room from the lobby (as in farthest) Hallway was dark and eerie, my son was creeped out. - Airport shuttle came like 35 minutes after we called the hotel to pick us up. Hotel is 10 min away from the airport. - Food available for late night visitors checking in are limited to almost none.

Very friendly staff. Beautiful hotel. The wonderful smell reminds me of disney hotels. Very convenient if flying out of DTW.

Delta by Marriott is very good place to stay

There weren’t very many guest, yet the staff put everyone in the same wings together. People were noisy, and kept up ruckus. Had to clean the bathroom with Clorox wipes because it wasn’t cleaned that well. Table tops and counter tops were also dirty and had stains. Cleaned those with Clorox wipes as well.

First time staying here and it was amazing...the front desk staff was great from the greeting to check out. But restaurant staff was amazing. The server in the morning was attentive and caring.

The rooms could have been cleaner, especially the awful smelly dirty carpet

I used to stay here often and always loved it. Front desk was indifferent at best. But I have never in my life seen a bar tender be slower and less attentive than the woman working that night. Maybe 12/14 customers and getting menus out and drinks ordered seemed beyond her abilities. At a minimum I’d suggest recognizing a customer standing at the bar and telling them she’ll with them in a minute. It was embarrassing.

The hotel looked ok from the outside the rooms were musky and unclean with hair in the shower and on the towels. Will not be returning.

Our room was clean, bed was nice. From my desk staff were not terribly welcoming nor helpful. Blue light from the thermostat lit the room and disrupted our sleep.

Loved the shuttle service and the closeness to the airport. Very friendly divers, extremely courteous.

Excellent location close to the airport !

We stay here on nights when we are flying out of Detroit Metro on an early flight. The decor is a bit tired and needs updating, but the beds and pillows are quite comfortable. The staff is friendly and always helpful. The restaurant is surprisingly good for an airport hotel…the food is just delicious.

Just stopped by for one night. It’s clean and comfortable hotel. Also close to the airport and provide airport shuttle for free.

The hotel was easy to reach from the airport, check-in was fast and friendly, and the room is nice and spacious. Add ti that a good sized pool.

Room was in an isolated location just past the laundry room for the facility. Additionally it smelled. Staff moved me but the next room had a candy wrapper underneath a cup and mold in the bathroom sink. And I had to ask for the breakfast coupons I paid for.

Room wasn’t cleaned very well. Housekeeping was making all kinds of noise in the morning. Remote for the tv didn’t work.

The property is dirty and is unclean inside and out. The room we got was 200 for one night and they didn’t have any hot water. Shower is unclean with one of the most inconvenient set up I’ve seen.

Booked a very last minute room here after a cancelled flight and not being able to travel again until the following day. The room was comfortable and clean, and good value for money. The shuttle bus to/from the airport was also a great addition! My only negatives would be how loud the air conditioning unit was, and that having a room on the ground floor meant I was woken up by car headlights quite a lot (I didn’t notice the black out blind behind the main one until morning as it was already dark when I checked in!)

Unfortunately it was a very bad stay. I was woken up at 2:10am by someone trying to get in my room. I told them they had the wrong room. Ten minutes later again, I told them to go away, wrong room. I just started to fall asleep and my room phone rings and the front desk asks me who I was??? The person that checked me in didn’t acknowledge the room as taken. Apparently I found out later the second disturbance was Hotel Security and they didn’t tell me that. Notwithstanding it’s now 3:00am and I could not fall asleep again. I had an early flight and was very tired for my upcoming 6 hour flight. I mentioned this to the front desk when I checked out and got a oh well, sorry. Needless to say I’m not very happy and will reconsider where I stay next time I’m travelling. I want Expedia to get me a refund from Detroit Marriott. Ron Solvey

I was placed in a room that was approximately 1 mile to the front desk. I am disabled.

I've stayed here multiple times when I'm working in Detroit and it always has a decent price and a quiet clean place to lay my head.
