Very nice and clean hotel

Average stay. We were there for one night only and as it was the olympics we wanted to watch on the TV, however very few channels had a signal and when I asked reception for help they said they’d get a technician to look into it and get back to me, however we heard nothing back.

A nice hotel with friendly staff. A bit old. The pool was very cold, which was a shamw as we choised this hotel due to the pool. A bit outside of town, but free public bus every 30 minutes. Stayed at 17th floor, geeat view

Old building, old styling in rooms. Bed was very firm. Shower was good. Had to wait a long time before we got help from reception as there was only 1 person.

This hotel worked out well for a 3 night stay for first time visitors to Luxembourg. It’s a standard Hilton. The room was spacious and clean, the air conditioning was the quietest of any hotel I’ve stayed in, and operated perfectly, and the beds were v comfortable. The bus stop mere steps down the road was ideal for the 10-15 minute drive to downtown—all buses are free in Lux. 4 stars for the faulty shower head, which wasn’t fixed, and the pricy buffet meals, but Lux isn’t cheap and they ended up being good value. And the warm cookie on arrival and helpfulness of desk staff earn a 5. Overall recommended.

Check in was slow as there was a lot of guests and only one person in reception. Evening food was only buffet with minimal choice and mediocre. Breakfast we were sent to first floor restaurant and food choice was not good. Also had to wait for some food items.

The toilet was malfunctioning and the AC was not working well

The hotel was adequate for the quick overnight and rush breakfast time we had available. It clearly met the need for quick mass tourism.

Nice hotel with easy access to public transportation. Rooms are clean. Staff very helpful and the breakfast is worth the price.

The cleanliness and conditions of the property throughout is excellent. Staff is respectful and helpful (could be a little friendlier). Checking in and out was quick and easy. Buffet breakfast is pretty good, the only thing I didn't like was that on the weekend breakfast was so busy that was chaotic, there were so many people.

It is an amazing propert with excellent staff. They have very nice pool. Breakfast options were nice. The welcome cookie was very tasty. Having AC made the sleep quite good. Bathroom was also nice.

Large, American style hotel. The people checking us in were friendly, but the lobby was very crowded with a couple of sports teams using the hotel. The elevators were a problem. Several got stuck and sometimes the doors wouldn't open. This caused huge groups to form waiting for the elevator. When we checked out, we carried our bags down 11 floors and we were not the only ones to do so. This stay was part of a long trip across Europe. This was the only branded hotel we stayed in and it was our most disappointing. It was not terrible, but the elevator was enough of an issue as to leave a bad taste in our mouths.

The booking was for a Superior Twin room. When we got to the room, there just a double bed. I went to reception and explained that the room was not what we paid for. We were issued another room which was indeed a twin room but just a .basic room. Back to reception, 'hotel fully booked' came the answer along with an apology and another room issued. This was a deluxe twin - again, not what we booked and paid for . This took the edge off of a celebration weekend that had been booked and paid for some time ago

Room was very small for 2 people.. had 2 twin beds for us.. Shower area and such was nice tho.. our room was beside this inner courtyard area.. and these guys was up and in it till 3a.m. would have been longer but that was when i had enough and called the front desk to do something about it.. I also felt i was misled by the pictures they use on web sites like Expedia and google.. The big shiny building they show is just a building in the city and not theres.. There building is right beside the public train yard.. That would be a plus if using training.. They did have parking of our rental car down the street in a paid lot.. Breakfast was decent.. And there was many ppaces to eat near the hotel.. overall if i had been a solo person i might of been ok here.. But with my 76 year old father it was just to noisy and small of a place..

The shower was broken. It only had extremely hot water running. Complained to the receptionist she advised that someone will come to fix it or we will get another room but none of that happened. How could you give a room out to a guest without checking it properly ? I stayed last year much better experience but NOT this time.

This has been my worst experience with a Hilton banner in the world. I usually stay in the Hilton for City trip with my family for comfort. Sadly, Doubletree Luxembourg simply does not meet the basic standards that a Hilton should be able to offer. We have booked Doubletree Luxembourg for Bank holiday Luxembourg trip ( 25th May to 27th May). As soon as we have checked in (room no 1611), we found room temperature is very high. Doubletree Luxembourg they just switch off air conditioner to save money, although the room temperature was 26 degrees centigrade. I have requested them to switch on the air conditioner or supply any Table/ stand fan or just open the window so that we can sleep properly. Sadly, Doubletree Luxembourg does not do anything to resolve the issues. I have stayed in the lobby nearly two hours to resolve the issue, sadly Doubletree Luxembourg just refused to do anything. There were other peoples with the same issues and Doubletree Luxembourg just refused. Additionally, I would also like to mention, that Doubletree Luxembourg TV channel does not work. Instead of 24 standard channels, there was only one channel (French tv channel). We had two night very uncomfortable stay at the Doubletree Luxembourg. I think I should inform Hilton the poor service that I have received in my current stay at Doubletree Luxembourg and Hilton should stepped in. I will never stay in the Doubletree Luxembourg and would not recommend any one to stay there.

Customer service excellent. Food and room good quality and very comfortable. The water was brown when turned on.

I booked and paid for 2 rooms, one for us and one for my friend on my card. Hotel staff said only the friend's room is paid for, not mine. Took ages to sort at check in. Then the same issue at check out. Not sure why. Note about breakfast: for a 23 EUR/pp breakfast, it is very poor value for money with not much to choose from. No fried egg, baked beans is too salty. Salad on offer is very basic stuff. I've always have good experience staying in Doubletree hotel but not so much for this one.

Very comfortable and clean. Restaurant offers excellent dinner options. Two problems though: we can't enjoy the swimming pool on Sunday afternoons, and the breakfast is just disgusting... serving some kind of egg paste instead of two scramble eggs is not acceptable in such hotels. Same for the sausages that were terrible, when Luxembourg offers some great products.

Breakfast was good. Public transport links were great.

Great staff, very helpful and attentive. Allowed us to check in early and even gave me and my son a voucher for a free drink at the bar whilst they checked if our room was ready. My son loved the free, warm cookie on arrival. Only slight negatives were a slight musty smell along the corridor and room and it seemed a previous smoker had used the bathroom. Pool and gym were basic, but great for an hour. Overall, very good
