I have been visiting Carmel quite often recently and the location is perfect for a weekend getaway.

I expected a bit more from a Homewood Suites. There wasn’t a pen or piece of paper to write on, it looked a bit “old” and in need of some upgrades.

This is a very old and stained hotel! My room air ducts were BLACK with grime and filth! Couldn’t sleep horrible sneezing from carpet allergies. Filthy feeling! Plus, not only did hotel advertise FREE RECEPTION, so did YOU on your site! NOTHING no reception and front desk it’s only on WEDNESDAY! Unacceptable FALSE ADVERTISING! Very disappointed and angry that this “business” class hotel was NOTHING LIKE SHII OUT WED! Not worth the rate!

Clean hotel. Breakfast was a bit disappointing.

Breakfast was often cold and was closed early 2 of the days we were there. The water was shut off for a leak but we were never told. We found out about the water shutoff when attempting to shower. When asked the manager said a message was just being sent out to occupants -Never received a message. I will say the other manager Nick was very helpful with concerns and our stay. He was quick to respond and followed through with his word. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Decor was out dated and aged.

We were traveling for summer lacrosse playing at grand park. This hotel was pretty convenient for us and the room was perfect.

The pool was dirty so we couldnt swim. The water for the shower was lukewarm at best. The bed had some kind of lotion on the end of it. The tv swivel had a screw hanging out of the wall; we werent able to watch tv. Out of the ammenities, most we couldnt use!

Very nice choice. Sizable suite with all the perks. Walk in shower was great. Staff was helpful. Evening reception was a nice touch. Would stay here again!!

Great large rooms for dogs. Pool was fun for kids and hot tub was hot. Overall very convenient and comfy stay.

Upon arrival our room was not quite ready even though it was after checking time and I did the virtual check in the day prior. The staff happily provided us with an alternate room. The 3rd floor hallway was dark & musty. Our room was great size but definitely was neglected. A towel bar was broken, tv volume was erratic (increase volume via remote didn’t change the actual sound then randomly it was full blast 15 min later), tub was chipping & rusty, heat/ ac was unpredictable. AC was full blast or heat clicked on. There was a blood stain on the bed blanket. The hotel was quiet and had a great pool for kids, but I would not stay here again.

Helpful, friendly front desk staff and comfortable beds, good location near downtown Carmel. Pool cleaning leaves a lot to be desired, the water was really cloudy looking and there was quite a bit of debris at poolside (bottle caps, wet dirty sock). Bathrooms and kitchenette were nice and clean, but we found other people's beauty products and an old shower cap under the bed so that area doesn't always get cleaned. Breakfast was very good, much better than usual for a hotel breakfast! However we were most looking forward to the pool, so its unappealing condition was disappointing, especially for this price.

The Ice machines were broken on the 3rd and 2nd floors. They shut the water off to the entire hotel for an hour or so without telling the guests. They also didn't tell us at check in that they only clean every 2nd or 3rd day unless you ask. That would have been good to know.

The stay was great but they need maintenance to go through and actually replace things like shower heads and fix sliding glass doors for the rooms with a balcony.

The hot tub was lukewarm and pool had some debris. 2 bedroom suite was nice. The beds were comfy. Only bathroom had shower. Just kinda strange but the breakfast was good. Nice area.

I honestly was shocked the floors were dirty. The dishes was dirty. Just wasn’t as clean as I thought it should or been

The toilet is dirty and was never cleaned; there are stains everywhere. The floor also need sweep and so are the kitchens and bathroom.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was comfortable and it was an easy drive to anywhere in Carmel. Breakfast times were a little odd. Overall a good stay though.

Clean, comfortable. Breakfast was accpetable. They allowed me to check in a bit early. Very conveniently located.

No water for part of the day. Hot tub closed a day. A grocery store was holding job interviews and zoom meetings in the lobby, making us uncomfortable to be there. Ice from the vending machine had dirt in it (all 4 times we tried it). Hallway was never swept and had dirt in it. Trash cans in the common areas were always overflowing. Bed, couch, and especially the pillows were uncomfortable. Evening reception was canceled. An employee was on the second floor and asked me if this was my room - I said no I was down a couple doors to which he responded I knew you were around here (very creepy especially since I hadn’t seen or had an interaction with him prior to this). We had no housekeeping at all - I had to ask for trash bags at the front desk. The kitchen was poorly stocked - no washcloth, one wine glass, 2 regular glasses. I would not recommend this hotel.

Fair property for the price. Staff were friendly at check in, easy to park and check in. Centrally located. Our room faced the highway and we heard road noise all night. Breakfast is standard hotel breakfast; my kids enjoyed the waffle maker. The property is not new; there are small things that would make it much nicer. The vinyl ottoman/table had stains on the sides that would have easily been wiped, the wallpaper was peeling off in the bathroom, the window had streaks running down them (not sure what it was) and the carpet had not been cleaned or vacuumed. Beds, bathroom and kitchen were clean. If in the area again would probably try a different hotel.

Check in was quick

Our shower was not working the first night I called the front desk three times. The shower was on but was stuck on cold could not get to turn off. No one come was told there was not a maintenance person overnight. Shower ran full blast all night. Was upset after a full day of travel was looking forward to a night hot shower before bed.

When you pull into the lot it is clear the hotel is not new or updates. It could definitely use some help outside to spruce it up. The lobby looks a little dated, but overall nice. The breakfast area is set up nicely. It is spread out which helps with overcrowding. We arrived in our room after check in and were very disappointed with the look and feel. The room is not well lit, the couch looks very old and well loved and sheets have definitely seen their best days quite some time ago. We went to fitness room and pool and spoke to the front desk about this, but specifically the couch. We expressed concern of what the mattress would look like as we would have kids sleeping on the pull-out. The woman at the desk told us that the mattresses were in great condition and not to worry. After swimming i pulled out the mattress and it was gross. Lots of yellow stains. I went back downstairs and showed her 2 pictures. She didn't seem surprised but told me that they were sold out, there were no managers working and i should complain the next day. She offered extra blankets and sheets to build a barrier. The next day i spoke to the front desk, she told me there were no managers and nothing she could do. This was only after she was on the phone for 15 minutes and kept trying to ignore me, but i waited her out. at check out i told her about the issue again, she took my phone number to have a manager call me, but told me it was doubtful they could do anything

My room was rather gross honestly. For $200 a night, you’d think the table would simply have been wiped down. The refillable lotion on the wall literally just fell out. The bathtub had so much patchwork done to the outside it looked as if it were painted by Picasso himself. The dishes that were included with the room were dirty. And there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher as well. The food wasn’t that great either. Truly not that good of an experience for the amount of money I had to spend.

Very comfortable hotel. Quiet. Nice amenities. Great service. Comfortable beds. The stay was much better than I expected.

This needs another elevator more centrally located

The remodeling was not the best in regards to a patched ceiling in room 215. The bathroom door had substantial water damage at some time and should be replaced. The shower head is loose in the wall. The tub appears to have had an anti-slip mat or stickers at one time. But not now and the shower is super slippery. Overall hotel was nice. We would stay again.

Our room was nice but the dishes were not clean and something on the back of the bathroom door.
