Lovely hotel. Car parking is extra and a little pricey (€21) a day. I think €10 a stay would be enough and fair! The location is great, although it’s 1.5 miles/ 30 min brisk walk from the square, we enjoyed the walk but it was a little inconvenient if you just wanted to pop back in the day. The second evening was spent local to the hotel and there were plenty of restaurants and bars to enjoy. Overall a nice place but slightly overpriced for the location.

This was our second stay at the Ametyst Hotel. We were delighted with all aspects of our stay. the hotel organised transfer to and from the airport. The hotel was clean, comfortable and warm given that it was snowing when we arrived. The staff are professional and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and catered for all tastes. The hotel is slightly out of the tourist centre but close to good public transport links - the tram and metro and therefore represents good value for money is a quieter district of the city. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Pretty good location if you don’t mind taking the metro (train) into town. But some basics missing, for example: No black out curtains No door security in lifts (you can call a lift from the lobby without an access card, or any type of security, meaning anyone can come up or down any time of day or night) No iron / board in room as standard 5 hangers in a double room wardrobe- not enough! No aircon and it’s all analog very very dated Mini bar not stocked on arrival No additional pillows / feather Sauna £18 / 400 per hour, not free! Noisy rooms. So I was in room 102 which was a short walk away from the lifts and it was extremely noisy on level one of a five story hotel yeah the walls were paper thin, I could hear everything The beds were extremely short I’m only 5‘11“ and my feet were fully hanging off the ends of the bed . Super short beds! I guess the other strange part which is quite common in a lot of European destinations, but even with a double bed, they give you two individual duvets which are barely enough each to cover a bum cheek

the only issue, they did not sweep/ mop the floor other than that it was fine.

Very nice staff. We lost a key to one of our bags. They smilingly helped us to cut open the lock in a few minutes. Also were forth coming in giving directions to the various attractions etc.

Aside from stray hairs on the desk from previous guest, you're about 2 miles from anything happening in Prague, which is a great city. This hotel is in a residential area. Stupid to stay there. You're not close to anything.

Nice, clean hotel with several places eat and/or drink nearby. 5-10 minute walk to the "A" metro (Green Line) to get you to the sights and airport.

Enabled me an early check in since I arrived at 10am. The city is a couple of tram stations away. All recommendations even for a longer stay.

The aircon didn't really cool and made a lot of noise. The refrigerator from minibar was also so noisy that I had to turn it off before going to bed each night. The location was good and service was great

Location is good for public transportation! Rooms are nice! Top floor has no elevator access though!

The morning brunch was excellent with a wide variety of food choices.

Bath was a bit too high to get into but overall I enjoyed my stay there

Only saving grace is it’s location.Easy to reach anywhere due to being close to tram and metro lines. Stayed in better Premier Inns. Certainly nowhere near a 4 star UK standard hotel.

A good comfortable hotel in a quiet residential area but quite a few pubs with good food in the surrounding streets. Not far to walk to the underground station or the tram

It was just sightseeing all around Prague. Weather was not great but all in all it was all very good. The hotel was perfect very clean and breakfast had everything. Maybe a bit far from centre if you don’t like walking which we do.We managed to see everything we wanted to.

It looks like the hotel is located in residential (quiet) neighborhood, public transportations are accessible about 10 minutes walk to the tram station. Great breakfast service with different choices, overall it was a good stay.
