I stayed at the hotel 20+ years ago when it was a Radisson hotel. Now that it is a member of Marriott, it was underwhelming. The only really nice thing was the rooftop pool (because there's no space around the building (parking and two streets occupy the surrounding area. The "beach" is a walk away (The Condado Stellaris has both an outside pool AND is on Condado beach). I had attempted to book the Stellaris, but somewhere mid-process it changed to the AC Marriott Condado and I didn't notice that until trying to check in at the Stellaris. The room was "OK" if you don't mind the sink IN the room. Fine for a single or a couple who are "more than traveling companions/friends". I need access to a sink IN the bathroom and, had I been traveling with somebody, it would acceptable. The $45 a day resort fee, "offset" by the offer to apply a "credit" of $45 a day EITHER to lunch or dinner, but ONLY ONE, really tempts the client to take the deal. However, the menu is overpriced for what one gets and is definitely not "Marriott" quality. For $45 one could get one main course and a drink before the meal would jump to $60 PER PERSON. I made my plans at the last moment so blame myself for not concentrating on the whole name of the property after searching for the Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino and not noticing the change mid-search. It had been several years since last visiting San Juan so that was part of the problem - there were not two Marriotts in Condado. I'll book otherwise.

We did not get the room we traveled and paid for the first night. The second day was wasted waiting for our room to be cleaned so we could move. The staff did handle the situation to the best of their ability. The pool was disgusting, there were all kinds of trash and debris in the pool and surrounding area.

The rooms were clean however the phone and TV were broken. The coffee maker had dust on it. I think maybe because it was a last min reservation that I booked with a balcony, they gave me what they had. And the balcony was right next to the parking garage roof with a very high wall, so not what I expected. Was hoping for a better view of anything, either the city or the water. It was clean however, and the staff was nice. But I wouldn’t stay here again, not for hefty price tag. Oh they also charged me for parking as well as a resort fee. Both adding to the bill. While giving me a small credit to use for the very expensive $20 drinks at their bar and restaurant.

Overall my stay was good. Nice large room. Front desk was polite but pool area could use some updating and the pool staff wasn’t very friendly. The was a lack of urgency, long wait for food ordered at the pool. Lots of food options in the area but overall it’s still a nice place to stay

My stay here was very comfortable and convenient. Staff was very pleasant and nice. We enjoy the pool upstairs. Hotel was very clean quiet I will definitely booked and stay here again. everything around the area was so convenient from walking to restaurants walking to stores. The parking was very accessible and easy. My experience was overall no complaints.

My recent stay at the AC Hotel in San Juan was unfortunately disappointing due to the poor service provided by the staff. Despite requesting daily room service, our room was consistently left uncleaned. When I approached the front desk to speak with the general manager about this issue, I was informed that housekeeping ends at 4 PM. This was extremely frustrating, especially considering we were out of the room all day and expected it to be cleaned during that time.
After voicing our concerns, the hotel assured us they would send someone to clean the room. We waited at the pool for over an hour, only to return and find the room still untouched. Eventually, someone did come—but only to deliver towels, not to clean the room as requested.
The lack of attention to basic service needs and the poor communication from the staff made for a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for reliable service during your stay.

Only concern or complaint would be the elevators there a few that were out of commission and there was a line of people to trying to go up or down, and it took a long time

The property of the hotels was really close to everything. The only issue was they charge 45 dollars plus tax for resort fee. That most of other hotels don’t charge.

Do not trust this thiefs and liars at this hotel. They charged extra fee per day. I was told that I had a credit to spend at the rooftop bar and restaurant. I was told I would get my deposit back at check out. At check out my deposit was not refunded cause I went over the credit they provided. But I was also charged the difference I spent. I find that ridiculous! So after paying my total bill I had spent I can not get my deposit back as a penalty for going over. Hidden fees and lies. Do not book this hotel! Or any other AC hotel.

The property would have gotten 5 stars but the lady knocking at 11am that wasnt housekeeping asking about checking out… checkout is noon. They shouldn’t knock before then
10 am housekeeping knocked , I told him to come back. 11 AM the lady knocked and then she came back at 12 PM to knock again as I was heading out the door.

Only 2 restaurants are open despite what their website says. The room has almost no storage whatsoever. I’m glad I was only there for two nights. $25 for the buffet breakfast, and you can’t use the $49 daily credit for that, only for dinner.
