Great location walkable to many spots friendly staff great lobby to hang out in with various seating arrangements rooms were comfy only compliant you had to pay for parking

The windows in the room need to be replaced. Basically no insulation. It sounded like they were open and you could hear all the street noise. Very noisy. Took away from everything else about the room that was decent. Doesn't matter if the bed is comfortable if you can't sleep because of the noise. We were on the 6th floor.

Property was very clean, smelled good and the stuff was oh so friendly. My only issue was the tv in my room wad showing blue. Every channel was blue and it made watching tv very uncomfortable. I was only there for one night, but I notified the front desk. All in all, my stay was a very good one!

Not quite what I expect from Courtyard. Room’s didn’t feel as clean as usual. Sheets had slight odor. AC leaked condensate. No microwave. Neighborhood wasn’t great. Very close to campus but…

I like the proximity to Yale's campus. I did not like the following issues:
-Loud construction noise and limited access to the lobby during our stay with no forewarning.
-Lack of hot water in my room, necessitating 5 visits from engineering to remedy the problem.
-No phone in my room- escalated 3xs- still no phone in the room

Rooms are small and obviously outdated. Parking is bad and insufficient. Very narrow entry/exit with concrete walls on both sides and very little room to maneuver. If you are driving anything bigger than a mid size sedan, be careful.

The property was under construction, which I can appreciate. They are trying to improve it. However, there was loud banging and when I called the front desk about it at 9:45pm at night I was told by the receptionist that it was the construction and it should be finished in the next 5 minutes.

This property is close to Yale, but directly adjacent to a filthy section of town that is overrun with unhoused individuals and gangs of teenagers who are in the streets yelling all night long.

Only three stars because they were renovating and there was a mess on the main floor and outside. The elevators were dusty from all the workers using it. On both days, we were told that the water would be shut off intermittently. If I had known, I would have booked elsewhere. Nonetheless the room itself was very nice and clean, the beds and linens comfy, and good service/housekeeping.

The listing in hotels.com should've really told us that it was under some renovation as renovation was both noisy and a little bit dirty in the lobby area. They also should've told us that the rowing showers were not currently available because of the reconstruction. Staff was lovely and various assisting, our issues.

I had no problem with the staff/service. However, the area around the hotel is terrible. Not safe at all to walk around. The parking lots are tiny making it very hard to get around. I had an issue with my door handle which was never fixed in my four days at the property. And when I booked my room at the hotel, I wasn't told that there was construction going on which limited the use of the elevators and caused a water shut down during the days I was there.

The beds were super comfortable and the room was quiet. The bistro in the lobby served a nice breakfast and coffee. One of the nicer stays we have had in hotels of similar caliber
