When we arrived there was a bit of confusion with our booking. We had special instructions on our booking that we have breakfast included but at the reception we were told that we had to pay for two nights parking and breakfasts also were not included

Great food available 24/7

I booked a King room with an Ocean view at a fixed price with breakfast and got bumped down to a normal room with no breakfast for a much higher rate, we will never stay at VOCO again, never.

The hotel is clean and spacious. Staff is friendly and helped to arrange rooms as we requested. The location is convenient with shops and restaurants downstairs.

Easy check in, great location, good for families, loved the gym and pool facilities.

Excellent location, right next to the Surfers Paradise station and the Q1 sky observation tower. The building is a little old but luckily well maintained. Great breakfast buffet selection and friendly staff service. P.S. if you get the river view, you can get stunning sunset view all from the comfort of the room, which is also very warm during winter as the sun shines in during the colder times of the day.

Changed 3 rooms in 3 nights, our first room was not clean, hair found in the bed, dirty used towels, toilet paper had dust and mould etc on it. Second room our toilet wasn’t flushing properly and then clogged. 3rd room was fine but just extremely inconvenient to change EVERY night.

This stay was a gift to our son for his birthday. Thankyou for making their stay memorable. He love the card and wine left for him. Xo thanks team Voco.

I recently stayed at the Voco Hotel Surfer Paradise in Queensland, and it was a great experience. The hotel provided a peaceful and clean environment, which was perfect for a relaxing stay. Its location was incredibly convenient, with easy access to all the local pubs and the town center, all within walking distance. We felt very safe throughout our stay. The staff were notably friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-situated place in Surfer Paradise.

The room's cleanliness and housekeeping are extremely poor, the carpet was not clean and never get vaccummed, and the cleaning tools were left on the chair, can you believe that! I told the front desk but they were indifferent! The staff are also very unfriendly, and the room has poor sound insulation, not recommended for staying.

Strategic location. Close to shops and the beach. Clean and large hotel lobby.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Voco. The rooms are cosy but very clean and modern. The staff were super helfpul and the buffet breakfast is incredible. If you are planning on using public transport, the Surfers Paradise light rail station is right outside Voco - so convenient and easy to use!

We enjoyed our short stay, service and staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. Some facilities are in need of updating. Overall a nice place to stay.

Sara was amazing. She made my stay with at voco with her next level service. Would recommend and hopefully she’s there when we are back next year. She’d make a great operations manager!

Rooms need refresh. Everything is quite outdated.

Only downside was the main pool and spa were under maintenance. Apart from that lovely affordable hotel to stay at whilst in Gold Coast

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were nice & helpful. The buffet breakfast was worth adding to the booking as the food was fresh. The central location to the beach, restaurants, tram & short drive to the football, hinterland… so many options.

It’s a good place if you’re not planning on spending too much time in the hotel . The walk to cavil ave wasn’t too far . The hotel tv only has antenna options example ; no Netflix or streaming services. The view was great. I did have some poor customer service experiences here and there but over all I’d rate the 3.5/5 starts :)

Service was good. location is excellent close to the shops trams and bus stops.

SPA facility was not available recently.

Service was not good at all. The restaurants were constantly understaffed so there were extended waits even to be seated. Room service was overpriced, took too long to be prepared, and very low quality. Television service was limited with no option to cast to the tv in the room.

Excellent hotel conveniently located right beside g-stop. Plenty of dining options both onsite & in the area. Great breakfast buffet with plenty of variety. Staff friendly & welcoming.

Recently stayed at the property with a 1 and 3 year old and they had a great time and especially loved the indoor play area in the lobby. Mum and dad loved unwinding and watching live sports in the cafe/bar area. Restaurants, massage and shopping at your doorstep and a short walk to the beach. Breakfast buffet is amazing and the staff catered to our allergies both there and in the restaurant. The staff are so lovely and helpful and with the tram and your doorstep it’s makes for an easy, stress free, enjoyable holiday. Some of the hotel is a little dated but it feels clean and well taken care of. Highly recommend
