It's no great shakes: a little run down, but it's clean and doesn't pretend to be more than it is. It has the best location in the valley: walking distance to the airport, Nugget and Mendenhall malls, bus stops, post office (for shipping), restaurants. I always stay there, and only there when I'm in town.

Sadly outdated , the cups in the cupboard were not clean, most of the dishes were still in the dishwasher. A pretty depressing place.

Shuttle service to and from airport was responsive and comfortable. On-site restaurant was a plus even though we did not have time to use it.

The room was bizarrely hot on a cold day even with the heat off. No a/c, required leaving the window open all night and hearing a lot of parking lot traffic and people coming and going from the restaurant below. Smell of the restaurant cooking exhaust also then came into the room. Without the window having to be open, this would have been an ok but still pricey stay at $250 for one night. Easy access and shuttle to the airport.

Great quick stay after a long day of traveling and before catching a ferry early the next morning. The front desk folks were friendly and the shuttle drivers were very accommodating!

Loved how close it was to everything lots of food options around close and walking distance. Jet tub was amazing and the room was super clean the bed was harder than I like but still nice. Differently would stay again.

We had to call the hotel twice for the shuttle from the ferry. When we got to the hotel we waited in lines for 30 minutes to check in

Parking at the hotel was very bizarre and not very convenient. The room itself was very nice, comfortable and relatively quiet (aside from neighbors slamming doors). We walked to different locations from the hotel and there appeared to be people in the area that did not appear to be upstanding citizens and appeared to be impaired. I would not have walked the area alone.

Front desk staff was not particularly friendly or welcoming. Room had a bit of an odor.

I waited 30 minutes for the shuttle pickup and another 30 minutes for check-in at 10:30 pm.

We showed up around 1pm and the fish freezer was already full. We ended up getting a few small ft sided coolers in the freezer. One of the coolers had about 14lbs of fish stolen overnight. We weighed our coolers before to make sure they were 50lbs exactly. We got to the airport the next day and one weighed 35 pounds. We will not be going back.

Room was large and adequete. The restaurant on the property was closed for breakfast, but just a 2 minute walk away was a great diner for breakfast, reasonable prices, good food and service, mostly frequented by locals.

Old worn out property. Looks like half the motel is rented out to long term renters. Our room in building three which is a nasty hike from lobby. Not something you like after a long day of travel and lots of bags to slep.
Unfortunately not much to choose from so they can get the high AK price and not invest in property.

If the check-in process had been tolerable I would probably be average on everything. But I sat there and watched dozens of rooms be given to someone else who came in after me. This was crazy. Granted it looked like my grandmother was working the desk, in fact all the people we saw looked elderly. And I'm prone to be very gentle with such but I hit my limit after waiting almost 6 hours to be checked into a room. No place to eat in the area without a mile walk and the hotel shuttle could not go anyplace except to/from the airport.

Two terrible stays here. Bad beds, dirty rooms, unsympathetic staff. So many shoddy, broken things… Juneau airport floor would’ve been more comfortable and less frustrating. Inspect room and try beds before paying. There is nothing about this hotel that is worth $250 a night…

Really awful experience… Stayed here twice in 30 days, booked incoming and outgoing and both stays were awful. Chalked our first stay up to bad luck, but the second stay was worse. Horrible, old beds. Dirty rooms. Nasty bathrooms. Major deferred maintenance. So many shoddy, broken things in the rooms. Unsympathetic staff. The Juneau airport floor would’ve honestly been more comfortable and less frustrating. There is no reason this hotel should be charging $250 a night. If you choose to stay here, inspect your room and try out the bed before paying.

The customer service was amazing. Super friendly & helpful. Room was much nicer than expected. Clean. Comfortable. Spacious. Will definitely stay again on our next trip.

No window screens, it was sunny and hot and to have the window open let mosquitoes in; front desk person complained about taking cash as I tried to pay in cash, would charge me double for damage deposits.

Really aporeciate the shuttle from the ferry terminal and to the airport the next day. Room was quiet and comfortable.

The room was okay and close to the airport. However, the internet did not work, and the front desk just said it was "spotty." I'm not a fan of hotels that advertise on the internet, which does not work. The room was also uncomfortably warm, and the blinds were broken, letting light in (a big deal in Alaska in the summer). Finally, it was booked for three people, but there was no bedding or towels for the third person. Finally, we were told the morning shuttle to the airport was canceled to run to the ferry. The next morning, after calling Lyft, we found out that was not true.

The staff was so accommodating from picking us up early to letting us check in early and taking us to a fishing harbor with no advance notice. Very cute place and clean. Only downfall is that the Olympics happened to be going on and there was no regular TV to watch the events, only streaming available.
