Excellent hotel. All the staff where wonderful and helpful - from reception to dining room and housekeeping. The staff around the pool where also extremely nice.

We had an amazing time! Everything was clean and well organized, the staff was super friendly, the pool and private-beach were awesome and inviting, and the food was very varied and delicious. We'll be back for sure.

STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. THEY WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE SURE WE WERE HAPPY AND KEPT CHECKING IN TO ENQUIRE IF EVERYTHING WAS OK. THE HOTEL IS SUPER CLEAN AND VERY WELL MAINTAINED

The hotel is not so new, so the facilities. Kind people and good service. Very high prices for all drinks. Better use local money, because the exchange rates in hotel are not so good

The location is not less than perfect.
Dislike: there was VERY LOUD MUSIC on the beach ALL DAY! it was very disturbing. We asked the staff several times to change the music but it didn't happen. IT SPOILED THE PURPOSE OF OUR VACATION.

We have been visiting Taba and Sharm for many years. The staff (in this hotel and in most hotels) is usually nicer and fun and cooperative. In this trip we met a lot of unfriendly staff.
Other than that all as usual. Good breakfast and nice beach!

I almost cancel my reservation because the dive center was closed for 2 month, happily the las week I was informed they have the dive center back.

Room was clean and comfortable. The security staff treated me horrible they were very intimating went through my luggage twice and took my speaker and when I checked out security had me wait over 30 min. To get my Speaker back. When I first tried the speaker after they took it from me it did not work and looked like it may have drooped it. Also at check out they made me wait over 20min so that then could check the room for damage. I have never had this happen at any hotel and it made me feel like I was not trusted.

The stay was very good, fantastic and memorable as the hotel is located in a very nice and amazing place. The hotel staff was very cooperative and helpful, room was clean and tidy, food was good. The overall stay was very good.

3 minute walk from the border .

Unlike other hotels in Egypt, for some strange reasons, Nelson Hotel doesn't allow to pay the room with egyptian currency if you are foreigner. So don't keep 50€ in EGP as I did for paying the hotel before leaving Egypt, you will just loose it.
The value is better more in the south of Sinai.

The locationlocation is very good, walking distance from border, pruvate beach with some corals. The hotel is old and a bit run down. The food is below standard with on premise restaurants serving bad food that does not comply with the menu description.
