Hotel too old

Friendly staffs, great customer service, delicious buffet breakfast, walking distance to another place

I got two wake-up calls in the middle of the night, even though I didn't ask for it. The water pressure in the shower is very low

The TV doesn"t work, there's no response when I request it and there's no change in the types of breakfast buffet.

Though I wondered how often pillow covers and bed sheets are changed, I was very pleased with the hotels service. Everyone from day 1 from the doorman to the check-in girl to the porter, the cleaning staff and restaurant staff and even their chief accountant that I met was very friendly and helpful. I felt welcome and home after many trips in and out of Saigon during Jan 2020. The location is super convenient. I used to stay at KimDo Royal Saigon Hotel across (3 times) but I will continue staying at this hotel when Im back to VN every few years. Keep up the good work !!!

Very convenient, located in the center of the city.

Had a great 3 days stay at Oscar. Very clean and quiet. Love the breakfast with many good choice. Will stay again.

I found cockroach in my room and feel very disgusted.

I come to Ho Chi Minh city on a regular basis and always wondered about this hotel. I decided to go ahead and booked the hotel. Well, it was a terrible experience. The reception was rude and tried to inquire about our private life. It was really rude and intrusive. Not competent, any single and easy query is subject to bad understanding or accomplishment. The room itself was very bad, old fashioned, very few lights, most of the electric plugs didn't work and wifi signal was terrible. It is so expensive for what it is. I am usually very happy with accomodation in Vietnam but this was the worst experience so far. Best advice: never stay there.

Perfect location for seeing the sights in HCM City. Very safe area close to restaurants and shops. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast.

The hotel is in an excellent poition for exploring the city. The whole hotel has the feel that it was once very good but is now in need of refurbishment. The staff, particularly those on the front desk where excellent, very friendly, professional and always helpful.

Location and convenience for travelling to visit a lots place

The hotel is located in the prime area of Saigon, next to Nguyen Hue walking street

This hotel is good if you want Cheap and Local on the walking street. U might also want to check Saigon Prince Hotel. Both are about same price. But Saigon Prince is better. This hotel on day 1. 1. We paid for good room. Fridge was warm, thus stuff inside not good. Café Make did not work had to be replaced, Safe locked had to have it opened. MOULD IN SHOWER, Needle on floors in bedroom. NOW: I they have a full bar and menu. I try to order a cappachino. Well they say they are out for the day. But they have Milk and Expresso Machine for Iced Café. My guess is they don't know how to use it. Elevators work on and off. Not reliable. This hotel is very old and not the best. I have stayed in 10 hotels over the 18 years in Saigon. This one is the worst. The staff is friendly, the cleaning ladies nice. Door Man is nice. They just are not modern, and for the location they should be better. This is 1 star hotel at best.

It was all going well until departure. ...this was my second visit to this hotel which is in a great location; very comfortable and lovely staff. However, as leaving the room on checkout there was a slow moving cockroach walking across bedroom!!! Sadly, won't be booking again
