Lalit used to be a good chain of hotels but they don't renovate their hotels so you might have the impression of a good but old hotel. This is my 3rd visit in this hotel. The staff is an issue: they are slow to fix any difficulty you may face. I suppose this come sfrom their training so they always call a manager who will not help you more. Two main issues with this Lalit Dehli: some rooms face the train station and since many trains run in the night and blow horn, those rooms are very noisy. So ask for rooms facing the street. They know it very well but will pretend the contrary to reject your request Secondly and surely the biggest issue is the breakfast hall. When the hotel is very busy, they open two halls... but even like this, you have to queue to get a table (sometimes 10 mn) and then you need to wait that they prepare the table and the buffet will be half empty. So it is a rather good 4 star hotel but don't expect a luxurious 5 stars.

Terrible ! So called 5 star hotel response time to Air con burning and smell in room 30 mins , emergency call button on phone gets answered after 4 times calling . Perhaps person sitting and watching Netflix seriers . To change room I had to go down and literally loose my cool. F&B without even checking with Chef’s servers take 2 seconds to deny things attitude is this is what we have take it or Buggar off.

It is a very well located hotel with excellent staff. The room was large and clean. The breakfast was of good standard. A few points could be attended to: . The room did not have an iron, which we had to ask for (but it was delivered promptly) . We were not given a non-smoking room that we had requested in advance . The gym was small for a hotel of this size, and dominated by a personal trainer. . the swimming pool was without an attendant for quite some time.
