We were on the first floor, and it was annoyingly noisy outside all night.
Furthermore, my cay got nasty scratches while valet parking, but no one was held responsible for the damage.

Location is decent, though it does back onto a nightclub which woke everyone up at 2:30am Saturday morning.

Right in the heart of Boston's theater district the hotel was just a few steps from the Wang theater. They have valet parking but the cars are double and tripled parked so walking after parking is easiest. The restaurant was out of multiple things but I had the best cod with tomato puree I have ever had. The room was good sized and clean. Beds are not super comfortable but adequate and there were no cups or bottled water provided.

My HVAC system started making a horrible noise in the middle of the night. I responded back to the number that texted me asking me how my stay was and there was no response. I called the front seat and told me there was nothing they could do and offered to bring me a fan.

I stayed 2 nights, the next morning my room wasn't cIeaned-up. I don't know If I had to ask for it, but I'm aware many things have changed since covid. I didn't messed it up that much, so no big issues with that. I was in the first floor next to the kids playground and it was a little bit noisy, but nothing I couldn't handle. I have kids too. I belief parking overnight is kind of pricey. Being close to the gym was a big plus for me. The staff was very courteous and respectful. Overall it was a good stay, very close to chinatown, less than 5 min. walking.

Rooms on the outer parts of the hallways are reached by going down about 8 steps. This can be a problem with luggage, especially for older folks. At checking, ask people if they need help, or would like a different room.

Great location! However hotel has a dated feel! Carpet smelt funny at times! They need to update to vinyl. Staff was friendly and courteous. Maybe would consider other choices next time.

The hotel was conveniently located near a T station, which was very nice. The dining options within the hotel were limited and very expensive for what was provided. Parking was an additional $63/night, so if you're traveling by car you have to work that extra fee into your budget. That parking fee greatly inflates the cost of your stay if you're there for more than a night or two. There was also no option for water unless you bring your own cups to use the sink in the rook or pay $8 for a bottle of water in their little shop in the lobby.

I was there as the spouse of a patient across the street at Tufts Medical Center. Convenience can not be beat. My room was clean and comfortable with a small fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker.

I have never ever heard of a guest being charged to check in early. I realize check in is 3p however when a room became available I was charged $25 plus tax plus amenity fee plus some other fee. I had another guest’s meal charged to my room. The shower took a full 10mins to get hot. The TV buffered thru every program watched. The overnight cost was nearly $500 and no where worth the experience

Nice hotel. Bit further out of downtown than I realised but walkable and a metro next door. Staff were all lovely, room functional and comfy and breakfast = good quality and choice.

Nice location within walking distance to Boston Common and downtown. However, the front desk staff could be more responsive and friendly. They are slow to fulfill requests such as providing a receipt. I had to talk to them once before leaving for the airport and call them once I got home. I am still waiting.

Exactly what you’d expect from a Doubletree by Hilton; comfortable, large rooms (compared to others in the area).
The service is good (as you’d expect) and they give you a cookie when you check-in, which is a very nice touch.
My room was facing a courtyard- so it didn’t have a view or let in too much light, but it was quiet- which is what mattered to me (I was traveling for work)
The hotel is downtown, in Chinatown specifically, so it is very easy to get around and there is a lot of restaurants within walking distance.
The hotel is in front of a hospital, which has its pros and cons. My room was very quiet, I didn’t hear any city noise or sirens.

The hotel is right on the center of Boston and vey convenient to walk to all the Touristic points. Very Safe at night specifically and close to restaurants. The Hotel also has a restaurant and Starbucks inside.
The bedroom is a little outdated, but good enough.

The room did not have good lighting at all and the bathroom shower and shower head were subpar. The shower head is very low and there is rust around the bars. The bathroom faucet also sticks in room.

Walking distance to concert venue (Wang) and dining (Legal Seafood). Property was clean and the concierge was very pleasant. Appreciated the connection via text with the front desk. Check-out was 12:00 rather than the usual 11:00 which gives the option for sleeping in a little longer if desired. The only issue per se was that the tub/shower control knob stuck and then felt like it was going to fall off because it was loose. Shower dripped.

Service was great and the property is well located for easy access to the T. Its also right next to a large hospital and busy roads, and the rooms would benefit from better soundproofing.
