For the price it was a good size apartment with a nice balcony view of golf course. Very cheap towels and you only get 2. None for kitchen. Very long walk from reception or taxi/shuttle pickup. Pool is much too hot to be refreshing. No gym. Too far to walk to beach. Minimart is always closed. Bed hard as a rock. Asked for a topper which did help a little. Lots of construction going on in hotel so jack hammer is very annoying when in your room.

The airco in the living room and the TV did not work initially. We reported it and it was resolved the next day. Hot water of the shower unit was a bit tempramental

Property and staff there were great. Only downside no kettle in the kitchen

To whom it might concern, We must raise our complain regarding the quality and service of Allamanda. 1. The air condition is not working well, it acting as a fan without colding. We request to fix the issue for 3 times, but there is no change. The room remains hot and impossible to stay in such summer weather. 2. The room lock is not working, we can't even go out without a room lock, and we need to stay in the room for a whole afternoon for them to fix the room lock. Its completely waste our time for such a short trip. The lock is yet to fix at this moment, and we are still remain in the room and they have no intention to change the room for us at all. 3. The telephone is not working as well. Times and times, we need to take 5 mins walk from one side and to another side of the building, and go down to the ground reception to seek help. 6. The response from the reception is always lazy and they could never addressing the issue immediately. We are very disappointed to recieve such unacceptable quality and service. We please invite Hotel.com to investigate this complaint properly. Best regards

very good value. Chosen because of the greenery and proximity to Banyan tree golf club. Big king size bed, but mattress rather hard. Management needs to add a mattress topper to make it more comfortable.

Very roomy and modern. Excellent breakfast nice pools. A bit far away from Patong if that is where you want to party. Would be good for families and golfers.

First of all nice reception from the frontdesk ladies and the rest of the staf. This was our third visit to Laguna although first to Allamanda. A big dissapointment was the changes done by the Laguna management to the free shuttle bus for this year. The previous years the bus was only a call away to take you to the beach, the entrance( shops, massage etc), other area hotels etc. Now it was scheduled by canal village and only 4 times a day to the entrance and back. Not the smartest move by the management to make this big change for visitors who has returned for many years. Allamanda was otherways a bit worn down but the pool was nice. Allamanda is the budget alternative at the Laguna but it works out well for a couple of days.

Like the 2-bed suites for their space and in Bldg 2 for the direct access to the courses 17th hole. Good clean condition, all well-kept especially as the bathrooms had been modernised. Nothing fancy, but love the easy access with parking almost directly on your door step (we requested ground floor unit for ease of luggage & golf clubs). Its more set up as a services apartment with kitchen (electric hob, microwave oven, big fridge, toaster and kettle). Wish theyd be a bit more generous with bathroom soap & replenishing shower gel thought. In Sept low season managed a very reasonable us$50 per night for the suite.

Great hotel, property is beautiful. You are in a huge resort near the beach, which is walking distance away. However, you are also very secluded from the rest of Phuket, with a 30 min ride to the city. Airport is 20 min away, so definitely closer than most places, but I wouldnt suggest it if Phuket city is where you want to spend the bulk of your time. That said, service was impeccable, and if you are the type who wants a luxury resort off to your own, this place is absolutely perfect (think Disney resort style).

Moved in there for 1 night as the resort we stayed in could not accomodate us. Reception was pretty poor, some renovations going on, room was basic, pool was really really basic and also some renovation material lying around, shop was closed, bed was not a double bed, its 2 single beds moved against each other - rock rock hard. Was pretty relieved to get out of it.

Great staff so kind and helpful the woman in the front desk were very helpful. Very nice pool and the room was very nice. Decent coffee shop needed though .

Stayed in a deluxe suite, a little dated but still very comfortable and clean. Hotel has great facilities and the free shuttle bus is very convenient. Highly recommend

It was a great experience to stay...closer to d beach...it was a great place to stay with.

Great spacious suite with kitchen . Lovely pool. Shuttle to other Laguna resorts helpful . Enjoyed our stay

Just finished my stay and it was very quiet and comfortable the staff are present and the rooms are cleaned everyday a very present stay would stay there again

Hotel is clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were lovely and helpful however Pool was terribly warm, location of room was a reasonable walk from reception. No transfers. No restaurant. No Bar.

Arrived at this hotel to a warm welcome, the staff were very helpful at all times. The location is not on the beach, but is a 5 minute free shuttle bus away. We rented bikes which gave us perfect oppurtunity to explore this quite area of the Laguna. Beach was close, local shops and restaurants far enough away to avoid all the noise and traffic but close enough to nip out to, less than 5 minutes on bike or free shuttle. The hotel swimming pool was fantastic, nice large pool for some decent swimming, and 2 small shallow pools for children. The rooms had everything that you'd need. A living area with flat screen tv andcouch for 5 people, a ding area with table and chairs and a small kitchen area so we could buy fresh fruit from the market and cut it up then pop things in the full size fridge.Theres even a small electric hob that we could heat things up we got from the market... the BBQ chicken kebabs were amazing, but we heated them up thoroughly in the room.. just to make sure... There is also a microwave. Our room backed right on to the road and we didnt hear a thing. The hotel is not the most exclusive uber modern, but at this price, we didnt expect that. We spent a small amount of time in the room (apart from sleeping) but the time we did we were more than comfortable. Not a complaint about this hotel. Highly recommended, we'd consider coming back here without a doubt

The Hotel when we arrived was very disappointing. After a long flight no cool water no welcome drink just confusion. When you arrive you want a happy greeting to start your holiday this was not there. We were across the road which was no problem. The people on the Desk said we need to put pass ports in safety deposit box. I said would come back in morning. When in Room there was a safe so that was strange. In morning we asked directions to beach and how the shuttles worked they just looked and said no shuttle. This was confusing as there were shuttles every where. One day we asked to check our pick up and they said you will be charged to find out could not believe this answer.Also we told them on check in late check out 2:00 pm which they said fine no problem and on the day we went to out room to check out the swipe card had been taken off and could not get in room, even though we re checked in the morning. Overall much better resorts to stay at and very poor staff.
