I think it was basic hotel like 3 star. Room was dark not bright

Fin resepsjon og hyggelige ansatte. God frokost. Rommet var noe slitent, men badet var fint. Kun 120 cm bred seng, noe som ble litt trangt for to voksne. Kanskje de andre rommene hadde bredere seng?

Nice location basic hotel

Good hotel in a great location. Beds a little on the soft side and only 1 pillow available.However place very clean with the exception of a bad stain on the chair which I covered up with a towel before sitting on. Bit of a disaster checking in, had to wait until 16:45 for a key as it was a big change over day. It was unfair on the reception staff, just 1 person early and late shift. They need more staff on when its cruise change-over . They did provide free coffee and a bit of cake but it didnt really make up for such a delay. Decent evening meal, the beef patties (hamburger type things) not to my liking but there was plent of salad and other bits to eat. You cannot go hungry here even if youre a bit of a picky eater. Overall, good and i would stay again.

We needed a place to stay for a night after a cruise. This was perfect. It is right on the water, but near everything. We could walk all around and also catch the bus right out front to get to the cable car up the mountain. They serve an amazing free breakfast. All in all, the perfect place for our needs.

Nice in the middle of Tromsö. Close to everything. Good room and all food is inclueded.

The soap smells amazing. Every other hotel was booked out and they made space for us.

This was my 2nd time to Tromso,the last being in November of last year. On both occasions I chose a Clarion Hotel, two next to each other. Whilst this one did not have views from the rooms looking out to the Artic Cathedral this did not matter. The hotel was only a few steps away from the harbor. Whilst all the staff I met were very welcoming the young female Filipino on the front desk went the extra mile sourcing a plug to fit my uk items. She is a credit in providing excellent customer service and sure a credit to your hotel and company. I will definitely be back and will only chose a Clarion Hotel. I could not fault the restaurant, all the meals they provided including the afternoon coffee and cake are a nice touch at no extra cost. The public areas could do with a touch up but this is minor to the excellent hospitality provided each time. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel or its sister one next door if you are planning a trip to Tromso.

I liked having dinner included for all guests as well as breakfast, tea and cake in the afternoon and tea/coffee available 24/7. This really made a difference in a city where eating out is generally expensive. The hotel was very clean and quiet, and the beds comfortable. The staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful.

The food is very good and is included! The sauna and jacuzzi are a great plus. Staff is very nice and helpful, the location is unbeatable. However rooms are a little small and it needs new carpets and some painting of the doors etx around the halls of the rooms.

its quiet near to all attractions, everything almost walkable distace the options for breakfast ,dinner and afternoon coffee is life saving , really enjoy the evening dinner specially.

Greeted by friendly staff and a simple check in. The rooms were adequately equipped. You have to ask for the room to be serviced. The food wasn’t great but was all included and it was very busy at meal times.

Perfect central location, great breakfast.

Our stay was for 6 nights in total, we were pleasantly surprised by the included meals and friendly staff. We were able to book all of our excursions through Magic Tromso right in the hotel lobby and were able to do everything we wanted to book last minute. I highly recommend this hotel for the location and cost. The only downfall was that the hot tub wasn’t included in the booking. It was a small added fee which I must have overlooked on their website.

Perfect stay

Great hotel, ideally located, staff helpful and friendly (Wael went out of his way to extend our stay), breakfast excellent and evening meal good - both included in rate which is good; room spacious but would have loved to have cupboards, tour operator in lobby was good, room rate was high

Beds & pillows were comfortable. Adequate size room. Breakfast was exceptional. There is afternoon tea which is free & daily free preset dinner if you wish. All in all, great stay!

The hotel was EXCELLENT! The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. Rooms are warm, beds very comfy, and water is super hot! The location couldn’t be better as tours meet within a 5 min walking radius. There are restaurants and bars in the immediate surroundings, yet there isn’t any noise during the night. The breakfast consists of croissants, breads, cereals, eggs, bacon, pancakes, fruit, cold cuts/cheese, yogurt. There is 24 hr coffee and tea, afternoon cake, and a nightly meal (changes every day). Would return to this hotel in a heartbeat.

Was expecting an amazing stay given reviews and recommendations, however we found food choice limited. Only 1 option each night and no vegetarian choice, unless you wanted soup. One night it was just bbq chicken wings which were cold, breakfast had a good choice but again, beans, eggs, bacon were all cold and had to get them microwaved. Didn’t realise had to pay for the sauna as not advertised, when did book session for evening had people hanging around the top and climbing all around for chance to spot northern lights. All in all for money per night expected more than what was offered and we had better experience at the Radisson Blu

Good location with a good breakfast

Great location with easy access for all your pickups. Nice to have meals included. Also, if you get lucky you can see the northern lights from the roof! My only feedback is related to the shower, where the temperature fluctuated sometimes.

Great , warm and centrally located ! All the staff were friendly and helpful . The various meals were good and filling . Highly recommended

Great service by Sina, Alexander and analu. Excellent food. Comfy big rooms. Spa and cheap Jacuzzi. Dream Central location. I would definitely visit again no complaints!

A tired hotel that is 2* at best. Not even a kettle in the room. Allocated a smaller room than booked. No attempt by hotel to remedy.

Room was nice, bed was comfortable and food was great (and free!) Could have had more vegetarian options available but couldn’t really complain. Even managed to see the northern lights from our bedroom window.

Very friendly and professioall staff. Good location. EXTREMELY overpriced. Old and worn down hotel. Bed was broken, windows small, plugs not attached to wall. Food was very good though.

Absolutely amazing hotel, super clean, staff are so friendly and helpful. Hot tub is lovely, gym is great, food is so yummy - I have allergies and the staff didn’t hesitate to cook me something I could eat. Great location and free hot drinks always on offer! Best hotel I’ve ever been too!
