Nice comfortable hotel in a good location. Great breakfast and friendly staff

We chose park plaza for the views and we were extremely happy with what we got. The rooms were what we had expected. Cleanliness, space. The staff on reception and bar were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay again.

Excellent location very helpful staff

We recently stayed at Park Plaza Budapest, and while the staff were very nice and welcoming, our experience was mixed. The best part of the hotel is the incredible view of the Parliament building—it’s truly stunning! However, the hotel is located on the Buda side of the river, which is very quiet with almost no nightlife or restaurants nearby. All the action, including restaurants and attractions, is on the Pest side, making it a long walk across the bridge to get to everything. The rooms are very spacious, which we appreciated. However, I wish the cleaning staff would come earlier in the day. We often returned from our daily tours around 3 PM, and that’s when the cleaning crew would arrive, interrupting our time to rest. It’s a good 25-minute walk to get to the Pest side where all the action is. We sometimes ended up using Bolt (similar to Uber) to get around. Uber is relatively new there, so the wait times were long, and we quickly switched to using Bolt for more convenience. Overall, while the hotel has its perks, especially the view, the location and service timing were less convenient than we had hoped.

Staff were so helpful when we checked in; providing lots of information on Budapest and how to get around. Genuinely nice and friendly. Room was well appointed and we had an amazing view of the Danube River. Breakfast was tasty! Tram runs right out front and subway and buses a block or two away.

Had a very nice stay as always before at this hotel . We will come back soon

Make it more English Exceptional location on the bank of the Danube, opposite The House of Parlament…Perfect room size, but need a bit of refurbishing..Tired bathroom and not for the elderly ,the bath is very deep and getting out is difficult.The shower screen is too short and I’m a small size women…Hangers need changing, the paint was chipped on most.No USB socket.However, the view from my room to Buda Castle was breathtaking.The bed is very comfortable and breakfast was plenty and tasty…Luxury hotel?I don’t know, I felt more luxurious in the nearby 3 star hotel

Beautiful room, excellent service, and great restaurant for a convenient option.

Staff were very helpful and positive. The position of the hotel is far enough away from the noisy city but close enough to walk to it. The breakfast choices are amazing. Lots of variety to set you up for the day. Our beautifully newly refurbished room suffered with faulty Aircon, fridge and room phone but when we requested a move to another room the staff initiated it immediately. It was 35 degrees outside and 27 in our room so we had no choice. Beautiful views of the danube river, the parliament building and the bridges. I would recommend this hotel and it will most likely be our go to for future visits.

We had a beautiful view of the Danube from our 1st floor free upgrade. We were given water for only one night and air conditioning was not fully functional. Staff was nice. Breakfast was exceptionally good. I would stay there again.

Excellent hotel right next to the Danube river. In walking distance to a lot of interesting places, restaurants and stores. My room was cozy and clean. The breakfast was excellent. I would stay here again.

Great value for money, very central and welcoming.

The location is ideal for The Castle District, Fishermans Bastion and the Parliament building. There is also a metro nearby. The staff in the Plaza are really helpful and, if eating in the restaurant, they are very welcoming and the food is gorgeous.

It was nice, staff was great. Could use a little more variety at breakfast and foods in restaurant, but all around great stay.

Perfect location; infront of the river, near the bridge. Walking distance to the Budda palace. Perfect view of the parliament and view of the Mathias cathedral.

The hotel is older and a bit run down, but more importantly it is not cleaned properly and the room I had (which was a downgrade from what I booked and paid for) was pretty gross. There was trash from the last guest (including soiled sanitary pads and personal items) and it wasn’t clear that the bedding had been changed at all between guests. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all.

Very nice view from room. Rooms a bit old or worn down. Normal service. Good cleaning. Breakfast not worth the money. Normal good stay overall.

Park Plaza Budapest was clean and had air conditioning in the rooms, which is a huge plus for us! We enjoyed that the rooms had mini-refrigerators that could make ice as well.

Great location but room was tired and didn't match the pictures on the site. We booked for a treat on our last night but it was not of the standard we hoped for at all. The staff were very nice though.
