The heating system did not work properly, was very noisy and uneven pouring cold air in the room then hot. Very uncomfortable

Ok. I've stayed at better and stayed at worse. Room kitchen has seen better days and lacks basics like washing up liquid. Corridor carpet is filthy. Parking a bit of a nuisance as a third of the car park is cordoned off. Pillows could be harder. Fold up bed was uncomfortable for my son.

They did not have the room I booked and paid for. Said a sofa bed was included, but it wasn't when we showed up. Had a roll away bed, which was ok... But not great.

We had a very nice stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The room was perfect for 3 adults and our 3-night stay.
We chose this hotel for the location, close to family and close to transportation, bus runs very frequently. Also easy to walk to local restaurants and nearby activities.

This hotel has many people living in it. My lock did not work so I had to stay in the room. Pretty old and used up.

This hotel was very convenient for dropping kid off at Tufts. There is nice restaurant/bar right next door and they provide free parking at underground garage. The front desk staff was very pleasant as well. Will definitely be back.

The staff was great and the breakfast and breakfast room was excellent. The trail in back of the hotel led to the subway, and that was beautiful.
The room, however, smelled damp and mouldy and I even ended up with a sore throat after staying there. It was not worth the $400 per night stay for the suite that we had.

Good suite accommodation. The property was nice, not the newest and best but for the money it’s a great value. Tech wise, the TVs were modern and the WiFi was fast.

Nice studio room with free parking and breakfast. Walking distance to redline subway station. Once the construction around subway station finished, there will be no problem walking between hotel and subway station at night.

This was a budget stay on short notice with free parking located very centrally to Boston proper. For 1 night, it was tolerable and the staff was very nice; however, I’ve stayed at Hilton Homewood suites before and was really let down by the cleanliness of the room. Cleanliness is the main thing when staying anywhere and this room was not clean. The bed had other peoples body hair on it, the AC was old and hardly worked, the carpets were stained, there were hairs all over the bathroom from the floor, to inside the shower and on the ‘clean’ bath towels - things were in very poor condition and i was very skeeved out; i barely slept.

Property was welcoming and well taken care of. Our room was very comfortable and had ample space. Large dining room with outdoor seating as well and excellent breakfast buffet. Staff were professional and friendly.

This is a brilliant choice if you want to stay in Arlington or close enough to get bus/train to Boston is very easy and regular. We cannot fault our stay. The staff all very helpful and the property clean and tidy. Bed really comfortable and room spacious. Everything we needed. We had seen a couple of negative reviews but we found everything to be good and are very pleased with our stay. Great to be able to get breakfast and coffee every morning. Would return here again.

The A/C is not well controlled. Doesn’t respond to thermostat. Half unit too warm always.

The cooling system is poor as the thermostat is located at the front of the suite, near the unheated hallway. The cooling unit itself is at the window at the unit back and doesn’t respond promptly. Half of the unit is too warm always.

We were disappointed the room was dirty, bathroom and kitchen especially. Kitchen drawers broken, food crumbs in drawer and silverware was dirty. Bathroom needs updating and there was nail polish on floor. Worst of all was the bed, and you can’t even make this up. The bed has a top sheet then a queen size bed skirt, ON TOP under comforter and we were in a king bed.

Working the AC unit wasn’t successful

Everything that’s could’ve gone wrong at this Hotel did go wrong. I guess the biggest problem was housekeeping. We stayed there four days and there was no housekeeping provided even though we asked several times. Two times they dropped off towels in a plastic bag and left on the table. Hallways were dirty. Not very friendly staff. breakfast was poor quality.
