Amazing. Beautiful boutique hotel located close to Prague Castle. Convenient to tram and metro lines. Service was excellent. Morning breakfast was over the top and dinner at their rooftop restaurant was wonderful with a stunning view of the city.

A beautiful hotel set in the castle walls, its a perfect place for couples. Amazing views, great staff especially in restaurant at breakfast.

The concierge, David, was superb. He addressed and solved our problem that was beyond his call of duty. We are definitely returning to this hotel this summer. He has given us confidence that we can stay comfortably at Golden Well hotel.

My husband and 7 yo daughter shared a room at the Golden Well for our 3 night stay in Prague. We loved the beautifully appointed room with sumptuous bedding, the great array of snacks and minibar, plenty of comfy furnishings, wonderful bath amenities, and the best staff one could ask for. The list goes on- we got a bottle of wine in our room, as well as a yummy dessert treat every night. The views of the rooftops from the restaurant were fantastic as well as was the proximity to Prague castle. We truly felt pampered and enjoyed the delicious breakfasts every morning. I would definitely recommend this charming, updated historic hotel (only if you are a quiet and respectful guest however as it is not a place for late night partiers).

Highly recommend this hotel. If you are looking for a quaint high end hotel this is it. It is not your typical chain hotel but every room is quirky and distinct. Staff is super friendly and attentive and the restaurant was AMAZING! There wasnt anything i did not like about this hotel.

I have rarely written reviews... My husband and I wanted to stay at this hotel the following weekend. We saw haw charming it looked and thought it would be perfect....A well earned weekend get-away. It was late on Saturday night and I thought I should book a nice room for the following weekend before I go to bed. I did just that and accidentally put todays date and not for next weekend....My husband caught this in the morning. I immediately asked to change the date for the one we meant to book the following weekend. After a few days I was told that no change and no refund. I own a small business and I know that an honest mistake happens. WOW- I spent my vacation money for the weekend now... so Prague will have to wait. I'm disappointed that...Thats it. I don't want to hurt the business but I think possibly it may help the management realize that every customer matters.

The staff was absolutely amazing and made the stay truly enjoyable they were right there for any question and to help with anything and everything. Breakfast was excellent and the dinning experience on the roof was spectacular. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to head to Prague!! It’s well Worth it…

Excellent place to stay in Prague! Amazing hospitality, everyone made sure we were very comfortable and taken cared for. Dine in the best views of all of Prague. Breakfast is so good. We will definitely come back!

This place was above and beyong prague is fairly cheap this hotel anywhere else would be really expensive. Restaurant on the roof seems expensive but one of my best meal ever

The hotel is faultless. The staff, at check-in, room servicing and in the restaurant cannot do enough for you. The hotel itself is a little haven of quiet and luxury on the edge of the city. So well located with incredible views over the city. We stayed 4 nights and were so sad to leave

So my husband was the navigator and he navigated me right up to the door which is not where cars are to go. The staff was alarmed and shocked that I'd managed to squeeze the car between the buildings around a very narrow corner. So with the help of 4 people I backed the car out through the gap without a scratch!

Golden Well Hotel was easily the best hotel I have ever stayed over the past 25 years. It has unique charm about it in an historic and beautiful part of town in Mala Strana. It is right next to the Prague Castle. The views from the hotel and especially the top terrace are breathtaking. This hotel exceeded my expectations on every level. It honestly spelled perfection better than any other 5 star hotel. They have an amazing attention to detail in every design and functionality. They also treat you extremely well and I felt very valued and welcome from the moment I walked in. The food on the terrace was exquisite and the daily breakfast was uniquely amazing with champagne/mimosa and made to order eggs/pancakes etc. Even the "do not disturb sign" is a charming mini-pillow red/green fabric and not a paper/plastic tag. The key to the room is a nice wooden card! They even had a daily 4-5:30 hors d'oeuvre with wine/cheese. Every corner you look, Golden well stands out as the absolute best hotel.

Accommodations, staff, and location are all superlative. Would definitely stay here again.

Need to improve their breakfast. Also, need to improve their concierge as we had to drag our luggage on a rugged road to reach the reception.

I wish there was a way that I could give the Golden Well 10 stars! It was the most extraordinary place my husband and I have ever enjoyed - few have come close but none have exceeded the boutique luxury of this lovely hotel - a 16th century Emperor's residence built into the outer stone walls of Prague Castle and set atop Mala Strana with all its brilliant red-roofed tiles and steeples. We arrived to be treated to a glass of Prosecco and a bouquet of fresh flowers. The view from our Tycho de Brahe suite was magical, and the cofee table was a veritable feast of wine, chocolates, and fresh fruit! Daily breakfast at the hotel's Terasa U Zlaté Studně restaurant was lovely, and our birthday dinner there was extraordinary, topped with an entire chocolate cake the restaurant delivered to our room after dinner! The staff was extraordinary - helpful, friendly, warm, hospitable, and kind. We can't wait to go back and would recommend it highly to anyone who wants to experience the best stay ever in Prague.

Great location. Great service. Love the welcoming wine and fruits. Daily replenish of fruits and desserts. Having heated floors in the bathroom was nice. My favorite was the breakfast in the terrace restaurant. Food is amazing and the view is so beautiful. We will definitely come back to the Golden Well Hotel again. Thank you for your hospitality
