Amazing stay! I went with some friends for a last minute weekend trip and the hotel called me before we got there to make sure they set up our room correctly and when we got there, we were able to check in early and they gave us free transportation and discounts for all sorts of things around Lugano. The room was perfect and the breakfast was delicious! I would definitely stay here again!

Very dated, minimal breakfast and the pillows were the most uncomfortable pillows I’ve ever had in a hotel. Small room and expensive mini bar, there are far better equipped hotels in the area for the same price.

Very polite and friendly personnel (owners / reception / waitress / cleaners). They all speak english as well. Good spacious parking and a lot of information about activities around. We extended our stay since we were very happy.

Basic but clean and tidy and did the job for a work stay

Good solid hotel, but family ownership and hospitality makes it a winner!! The staff just couldn’t do enough for us....room was clean, fresh towels daily, and free breakfast was awesome. This location is convenient to everything....cabs get their fast...no doubt we would stay here again.

5 star straight across u ask-!? Well- it a 3.5 star / 5 star hotel- in other words outanding 3.5 - the importance of hotels stays in $witzerland is "near rail station"!!!! A single cab ride 5 miles away could easily break the bank- Colorado - 8 min walk- it was a very nice atmosphere and very very helpful staff! Spend the cab fare on a very nice homemade dinner there instead !! Thank you very much Colorado!!

It would have been great to have better directions to Hotel which in fact is very conveniently situated on a bus route. Take Number 2 bus from train station direction Paradiso and get off at Tassino - the bus stops across from the hotel! The first room we were offered had a bathroom the size of a postage stamp - in fact it was so small that the even smaller shower was in located in the entrance hall with a shower curtain. When we declined the room, we were offered something much more suitable. Once you know your way around, the hotel is within easy walking distance from town and from the lake and a nice stroll away from Paradiso itsself where one can get a ferry. The funicular to Monte Bre (worth a visit for the views although everything closed at the top, this time of year).

Not bad, but they are a little short on staff. The room was very comfy but I could barely get the tv to work on the down time.. The wifi on the top floor also sucks, I couldn't load a YouTube video to save my life.

The hotel is a walking distance from the lake. The rooms are clean but the shower and the washroom are pretty small. I was also surprised to see that the price specified when I booked wifh Expedia was different from the price charged by the hotel. The price at the hotel was 25% higher.

the hotel location is a bit far away from Lugano train station (by walking, approx 15 min), recommend to take bus #2 or #4 (just 1 station).

The best thing about this hotel is the staff! Everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The room was comfortable, even though it was showing its age. The wonderful balcony with a gorgeous view made up for it! Hotel Colorado is walking distance to the train station, which I found very convenient. There is a restaurant nearby, between the hotel and train station, called AnaCapri. It is excellent!

Location of this hotel is good in Lugano. They are providing cycle to travellers. Mr BERNOSKONI is providing all sort of help Lot of English people are visiting this hotel. Breakfast timing is great but they have to provide English breakfast, charging little more money.

Convenient location, friendly stuff, the spaciues room.

we stay at this hotel regularly and enjoy the friendly service and well-kept maintenance of the property. Will stay again.The hotel restaurant "Tavernetta" makes an excellent pizza and other Ticino specialities and good wines.

Convenient location to train station and quick walk down to lake. Shower is built into a hallway wall, strange, but effective. Man that greeted us at the desk was not very informative regarding breakfast hours, check out time etc.
