I stayed at a courtyard Marriott in Santa Ana last weekend , and this location is MUCH BETTER ! Check in was quick and fast , room

It is a OK hotel, nothing fancy or outstanding. I picked this hotel in Salinas since there was no availability around Monterey and Pebble Beach due to car week events.

Room amenities were basic, room was clean and comfortable, bed mattress was amazing best sleep I have had in a long time.

The room was good, as shown on pictures. There was some black hair on our white blanket. And hair on the bathroom floor. Floors were not washed. Had wet/dried footprints from previous users. We came at 3pm for check in and they didnt have our room ready. We had to wait nearly an hour, that delayed the rest of our schedule for the day.

The hotel was near restaurants and stores as well as gas station but still very quiet.

Stay was okay, but we were forced to pay in cash because their system was down for credit card payments. A courtesy call would have been nice to warn us that there was no credit card option. No one called and a lot of us were struggling to find cash at midnight..

When I arrived to check in, I was told by the clerk that their system was down and that I would have to pay cash to get my room. Credit payment would not be possible. I had to find Bank and ATM at 9 pm in the evening. The neighborhood near the hotel was not the safest looking. I think forcing a cash payment was absolutely unnecessary, when a credit card was already on file for the reservation.

Had Cherry pits under the sealed water cups next to the ice container. AC smelled like mildew if you set it higher than 65 degrees and was loud. Lastly they shut water off while I was in the shower at around 2pm with no notice. TV remote was inside the pull out couch which shows they don’t change linens and the TV had the hdmi switched so had to troubleshoot it to get the tv to work.

Very large room with high ceilings. Large bathroom as well. Friendly staff. No tissues, and no complimentary breakfast. The bed was alittle too soft.

With only one chair, only a bedside table on one side and a shared single table for TV and any other use, it was well below what we have come to expect. There were me drawers for clothes or any suitcase holders. The sink counter area was tiny with no shelves or drawers for toiletries. Everything was minimal and below expectations for the cost.

Nice hotel near restaurants. We were spending 4 nights so that we could hike at Pinnacles National Park close by. The room was quite large and the beds were excellent. I wish that they had a microwave in the room. There is a very small restaurant downstairs which has nice lunch and breakfast options.

First off $400 almost for a one night is ridiculous for courtyard. Then because I had to check in an hour before check-in they charge you an additional $40.00. I've stayed at this hotel numerous times but I've never almost paid $500 for one night in Salinas California. Absolutely horrible and a rip off

Chose this hotel for indoor pool. Wasn't told it was closed by County til AFTER we had checked in. Would have gone elsewhere.

Easy access just off the freeway. Convenient to stores and restaurants. In house restaurant is only open 5-11pm. Room was clean; no "extras" like water or lotion.

We were pleased with the staff and the facilities, they charged a $ 100.00 pet fee which we find unacceptable as most hotels charge $ 20.00 to $ 30.00, we will not be staying at Marriott facilities with out a credit applied to our charge at this facility

Beautifully decorated, clean new hotel with friendly staff and reasonable prices. Seems to be eco friendly except for the plastic straws in the drinks in the lounge. Also, avoid room 109 which is noisy as it shares a wall with the mechanical electrical room. However, the front desk manager moved us without hesitation at 10pm when we complained we couldn’t sleep.

It’s a Marriott Courtyard. Clean. Nice staff. Good location. It has a bar and restaurant but I didn’t use it. Salinas doesn’t have a lot of hotel options and this is probably the nicest.
