We were put in a handicap room which was fine. The room was dirty and it smelled. There was hair in the shower. The toilet seat was dirty. The towels were rolled into a cabinet that had circles. When you pulled the towels out you could see a buildup of dust/dirt the floors were dirty. You couldn’t walk around in bare feet otherwise you’d feel stuff on them and your feet got dirty. I have pictures of the filth but can’t figure out how to get them uploaded from mymphone

It was very dirty. It smelled very bad. It was a non-smoking room, but yet the room smelled extremely like cigarettes. Everything was falling apart, and the area looked very unsafe

Room was nice and clean. It had refrigerator and microwave.

It was filthy. The room had several issues. It smelled because of the clogged shower and sink. The AC was dripping in another room on the floor.

Dirty uncomfortable beds just look nasty, shower had weird stains, towels where dirty.When we how inside it stinked like wet dog. At night you hear banging until like three am. The only good thing is the tv. Definitely a last resort hotel. Check in said 3pm arrived at 3 pm and was told rooms were not ready and was denied use of a bathroom for my daughter. Gave phone number to call when room was ready at 6pm we tried again had to wait a minute and room was given to us. Rude customer service every time we interacted with them. Definitely will NEVER stay there again.

There were no coffee makers or washcloths in the room. There was a big splatter of ketchup (?) on the wall by the tv and the swimming pool was dirty. The office staff was exceptional!

The room was clean, but the beds and pillows were awful. We ended up checking out after one night and going to another hotel.

Upon entering the lobby there was a strong smell of marijuana. Our front desk worker appeared to be "stoned" and smelled like marijuana and had difficulty doing her job. I understand it's legal in California however one should not be high at work. She issued us a room that was dirty and we had to go back to lobby to get another room. We were woken up approximately 3-4 times by our next door guests. Sounded like they were having an argument. The outer perimeter fence had a selection that looked like someone crashed into it. All in all it was a poor experience and we won't be staying at Motel 6 Pismo Beach on our next trip there.

Not great of an experience. Toilet got clogged the shower is barely anything. Water pressure too high, pillows were weak and it has no fridge. Bein there was kinda like goin back in time

It was hard to get our keys to the room. We had returned 3 times. We requested a non-smoking and they gave us a smoking room. ThankGod it didn’t smell. Beds were comfy room was clean

did early check-in was surprised of the $20 dollar fee. room was clean. no frills motel. fortunately, it was a cool weekend air conditioning barley worked very old system. staying on the cheap you get what you pay for. when checking in need to use restroom was told had to wait for room that is unacceptable. you need to do better.

It was an average stay, I feel I was charged an overpriced amount for my stay. The first employee, a lady, had terrible customer service. She provided no solution, would instruct customers to come back later (seemed like she wanted to stack the work for the next shift). The man to took over the front was overloaded with customers, he did his best. However, NO rooms were ready during check-in time. After checking in I waited one hour to get my room key, only to find my room was still not ready (per housekeeping). I was in the area for a sports event, and was stuck in my car instead of being able to relax in my room before game time. Thankfully, after my games, my room was ready. The TV was basically blacked out, you could hardly see in the the dark. I ended up using my own devices to watch TV, etc.

For the price and the fact that it is summer time the motel did its job. I did have to wait in line for awhile to check in but there was only one worker and he really put in effort to providing the best service possible. He maintained a very positive attitude even though customers were upset. The room wasn’t the best but again it wasn’t ridiculously overpriced. I really appreciate the front desk staff member, he was amazing.

Arrived 30 min before check-in & we’re told we couldn’t check in & to return at 3pm. Returned 3pm & told they don’t have any rooms ready & don’t know when they will. Told just check back with us later. I said what’s that mean we want to go enjoy your time & you’re telling us that you don’t know when rooms will be ready for our promised 3pm check-in. So we have to just wait around here? I said do you have any kind of timeframe, he said he was sorry but he didn’t. He said check back in 45 minutes to an hour. There was a line of people coming behind us & the line continued with around 30 groups arriving for their room check-in - out to parking lot! Customer service check-in was left solo to answer the phones & check in people with no help. He was polite, courteous, efficient, & quick at getting people checked in. Finally at 3:40 they started to have rooms becoming available. How can they not have rooms ready when cleaning staff had at least from checkout time of 11am till check in time at 3pm to clean? The community trashcan outside near our room was filled & overflowing & trash was stacked next to the can- from 4pm Sat to 9am Sun. trashcan was not adequate at all for people to put their stuff in at a facility like this. It was too small. Water/shower was horrible. It just trickled out of the shower. Washing one little part of a body at a time, while the rest of the body was getting no water & freezing. The beds are on a flat wood base & kept sliding. Sheet kept coming off bed

Never have we paid $20 (any fee) to check in an hour early when the room is available! Also, no shampoo! Seriously? Got in super late and couldn't even wash hair with the cheapest product!

I'm allergic to smoke and they stuck me in a smelly smoking room. I reserved a non smoking month or more in advance. So gross and had a headache the whole night. Never again will stay there and not recommend to anybody. Staff was not very nice and suggested I stay somewhere else.

Bad. I booked this without referencing reviews (very rare that I do that) and i paid the price. We ended up not staying at the non refundable room and found another option.

There was a line to check in and they were not being helpful.

The beds were very uncomfortable, they were hard and the sheets felt gross and rough. The bathroom wasn’t fully cleaned. The only thing good about it was the location.

Went to check in at 3pm long line to check in . Then house keeping didn’t have none of the rooms ready . Came back later in the day to check in still long line clerk gave wrong people the reservations then after 45mins of confusions I check in go to my room and it was a mess never cleaned from before tenets worst experience ever would t accommodate me anything and sorry and a refund . Plus roaches in the lobby

Check innwas horrible checknin was at 3 i arrived at 4 and was told the front desk assistant had to leave will be back in 30 minutes came back 30 minutes later and stood in line for a hour to check in. When finally getting to our room I walked into to a filthy cigarette smelling i went back to the front desk 2 times and the assistant still had a line both times. This motel is disgusting and I do not recommend. If i was not so far away from home or had another option I would have left.

My room floor was dirty, the window as ajar when arriving and the room smelt like smoke.

Had to move to 3 rooms the 3rd one was good but i would not stay here again air did not work moved us to a disable room cause we are both disable but room had only a full size bed finally 3rd room was ok but very nosie would not recommend this motel to anyone staff Ericka was very helpful
