Staff is wonderful, very helpful, breakfast was plenty, but cleanliness is bad, washroom was not vacumn and clean. Nighttime when i wake up, croaches were roaming around.

Our room was clean-ish. The good thing is that we all slept well, which is the point of a hotel. Another good thing was the evening front desk clerk who solved the wifi problem with kindness and resourcefulness. The breakfast and cleaning staff was funny and doing their best in a situation in which the hotel seemed to be understaffed. Many of them were angry but were friendly to guests. Management was pretty bad, not caring to try to solve problems. I had to ask for toilet paper and it took two days to get wifi working. Manager seemed annoyed to be asked for help.

Upon checking in , I entered into the room and found someones luggage. I immediately called down to guest services and the attendant came and retrieved the luggage and assured me that i was safe in my room. About 15 minutes later, a young man entered my room with a key and asked why was I in his room? Eventually the situation was corrected. Ray was one of the attendants and he was very helpful the next day.

It was a good stay. Regretfully the looming Hurricane Francine was coming that made us cut the stay short. The staff friendly and accommodating. The management g as ve credit for the night we left early to avoid the storm

the people at the front desk were very nice. the rooms were clean and beds comfortable. they do have parking available right behind the hotel for $40 that covers you until check out but we did pay for longer parking to walk around after check out and that was around $67. they also charge a deposit of $50 per night so make sure to budget if you book a few nights! i would definitely stay here again.

Walking distance to the quarter and concert venue The Fillmore were easy. Everybody that worked there was super friendly and very attentive to getting you settled in. The Gentlemen working Sunday afternoon 8/25 at 2:00 was on top of his game!

My visit was great starting with the fact that I arrived before my check in time and the staff kindly offered and held my luggage for me. They also placed me on a wait time to see if they could accomodate a room before my 4pm check in, in which they did!

The rooms are tiny, but the furniture are well-placed to utilize the space. The room is generally clean, except for the bath tub, which had short/curly hair in the tub. The hotel area is safe, a 24-hour liquor store is next to the hotel, but generally safe. The property is less than a 1-minute walk to Canal Street, which is the main strip with all of your restaurants, shops, and transportation. There's buses and streetcars that'll take you anywhere in the city, and that was my main mode of transportation everywhere. Police presence and city cameras are constantly running and monitoring, so tourists feel safe.

My room didn’t have no air!!!! We were miserable. Called front desk, the maintenance man came 30 minutes later with a ladder and a couple of tools. He done something with the vent then stated the air will come on in ten minutes, well long story short, we still was waiting on the air to come on when we checked out the next day!

The only thing that I would say surprised us and was a negative was the additional funds held per night and the $40 charge for parking. The parking spot we received was in the entrance to the lot and did not seem very secure for $40. We moved to the parking garage and felt better.

Jamila, Tammy & Gerald were amazing! I had a very transducer trip to arrive at the hotel, but these 3 did all that they could to help me, calm me & even took the time out daily to checkon me. Jamila went so far above & beyond that I can't express me thanks enough. Jamila, Gerald & Tammy all deserve raises & promotions! Y'all really don't know what kind of leader that you're missing out on with Jamila! She was able to take care of things that another employee messed up. Knowing that I couldn't walk to come down for deliveries,Jamila took the time to bring them up for me. Jamila was even the one to come up before her shift every day just to check on me. This is service that I've n never received at any property I've stayed at in the entire country.
