We received a warm welcome as soon as we got to the property. The breakfast was absolutely brilliant and well worth £7.50 per person extra. I've actually paid more for a full English breakfast and ended up with much worse quality than this but everything looks to be sourced locally. Great rooms for short stays and great facilities. Overall really can't fault this place and would definitely use again next time we came to Scarborough.

Ashburton House can’t fault it. From entering the B&B the smell of fresh flowers was beautiful. The owners were so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The room was family room with an interconnecting room with a bunk bed, sofa and even an Xbox for the kids to play. The bathroom was lovely modern and spacious. The location is ideal for the sea front or access to town centre. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Absolutely wonderful b&b. The staff are so welcoming and accommodating, the breakfast was delicious and I love the use of recyclable products. The bed one of the comfiest I have slept in. Just a great experience all round I have already booked my return.

Lovely place to stay, nice decor, friendly hosts and a fabulous breakfast selection with good quality produce. The room was spotless and had everything you could need including a welcome basket with snacks, hot chocolate, tea and coffee. Nice extra touches were the fridge in the hall with chilled bottles of water and fresh milk to help yourself to. There was also a nice selection of herbal & fruit teas. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending a stay here to anyone.

After having stayed at ashburton house several times ,its always as good as the last stay..the hosts are pleasant, friendly, & obliging & the hotel is very quirky ! Highly recommend.

Amazing hotel nothing was an issue, we stayed for the weekend, and had breakfast both mornings- there was plenty of choice and everything was good quality produce. Room was nice and clean, and I especially liked the little touches of bottles of milk and water. The hotel is about 10 mins from town and same from sea front, excellent locations,

Great location. Comfy rooms and very clean. The hosts were very knowledgeable about the area and nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend it as a place to stay if visiting Scarborough.

the stay was fine it was just our bed was a little uncomfortable. the breakfast was really good and the teas and coffee was not always available specially if you went to get some after your day out.

Ideally situated close to the beach, (10 min walk) and near to town centre which is uphill. Friendly hosts, room was good size, comfy bed, recently updated en suite. Tea and coffee facilities also in the room. Breakfast available and is good value.

The onsite free parking is a bonus as well, along with the brilliant breakfast choices at just £5 pp. I will definately stay here again, providing I can get in. Also the Hosts can not do enough for you friendly, polite and willing to do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable.

Lovely stay at Ashburton house B+B, check in quick and easy, lovely friendly lady. Room was nice and very clean. Our room was on the 3rd floor so quite a few stairs as there is no lift in this properly. Take this into account if you have mobility issues although they do have one disabled room on the ground floor. Owners easy to contact via bell to their rooms or phone. Close to Scarborough seafront, and a lovely base to visit surrounding areas. Breakfast is an extra cost of £5 but this is definitely worth it. All locally sourced products and very tasty and sets you up for the day. Would definitely stay here again if visiting this area. Thank you

Excellent hotel. Room was very clean and comfortable, with all the expected facilities. Soft bed and duvet. Good, hot shower. Very fast and reliable WiFi. Tasty, well-cooked breakfast (not included in the room rate). Easy walking distance to the beach, to the town centre and the railway station. I can't think of any negatives.

Always my first choice when staying in Scarborough. Great location, stylish property, helpful and friendly. What more could you want.

We always enjoy our visits to the Asburton you will always be made most welcome and the breakfast is great. Location to get to town and beach is a short walk away.
