Amazing service and stunning location

Our stay at LUX Belle Mare in Mauritius was extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed, setting a perfect tone for our visit. The friendly staff greeted us upon arrival, making us feel right at home. The check-in process was seamless, thanks to Ghada’s exceptional service and radiant smile. A highlight of our stay was meeting Sanjay, who ensured we had towels and water for our speedboat ride, making our experience more comfortable despite the rain. These thoughtful gestures set this hotel apart from others. Every meal was a delight, especially the South Indian cuisine prepared by the talented chefs. The buffet offered a variety of dishes catering to all tastes, each prepared with utmost care and quality. A special mention goes to Kamlesh, whose exceptional service and care truly stood out. When I spilled hot tea, Kamlesh immediately brought a cold towel and water. When my wife fell ill, he prepared a soothing drink. His attention to detail and genuine concern for our well-being were exceptional. We are truly grateful for the exceptional service provided by all the staff members at LUX Belle Mare. Our stay has been filled with memorable moments, and we are already looking forward to our next visit. We will gladly recommend LUX to anyone looking for a wonderful stay. Very nice hotel in a beautiful location. The staff was very kind and helpful, specialy at the teens club and at the breakfast buffet (my daugthers need a gluten-free diet and they prepared each morning special pancakes for them). It's a pitty that there is only one restaurant included in the half board.

At Lux Belle Mare we felt like in paradise. There area is extremely beatiful, rooms are huge and airy. There are a lot of activities for kids and adults to do. Shout out to the Play (kids center) for all of the fun activities they did with the kids around the whole hotel area.

Comfortable and spacious room, white powder sandy beach, excellent dining options, fantastic service. We will be returning.

We recently came to Lux Belle Mar for our honeymoon and it was way above our expectations. The staff were very warm, genuine and so friendly they totally made our honeymoon a wonderful experience. Big shout out to Delores, Chica and the restaurant management team for making us feel so special. Food is exquisite and changes everyday so you cannot get bored. The poolside ice cream parlour was totally irresistible. I would totally recommend this hotel and we will be coming back for sure!!!! If you also need a taxi driver ask for Sweetie!!! She is amazing and very trustworthy. She made our journeys outside the hotel very pleasant.

LUX Belle Mare exceeded our expectations, the resort was recommended by my son who stayed with you over last Xmas period with his wife and daughter. My wife and I are lucky enough to be seasoned travelers and have stayed in some fabulous resorts and hotels especially in Asia where we have experienced great hospitality and attentiveness. After our recent stay at LUX Belle Mare we were so impressed with the hospitality and attentiveness of your staff and overall experience; we have your resort up with the best that we have experienced if not thee best to date.!! Your team are a credit to your organization. One individual was outstanding Mr. Gopee on concierge. Fantastic location, beautiful clean accommodation, amazing culinary selection, warmth of the staff. We would have no hesitation in recommending LUX Belle Mare to our family and friends. An amazing resort for couples even though we are senior!!

Beautiful beaches, good location.

We had a outstanding time at the Lux Bellemare ! From the beginning to the end the staff was extremely attentioned and helpful. For all our queries the concierge staff helped us, the restraurant's staff was always keen to help and so kind to us all along, same for the staff at the beach and swimming pool. Our kids loved going to the activities of the kids club - again the staff their was wonderful. There was a cyclone expected and the hotel put some plan/measures in place and always kept us informed and prepared activities inside for the kids. We did not even noticed it (apart from the rain !). The facilities of the hotel are great, we enjoyed the snorkeling and the swimming pool. We (and our kids) especially liked the swimming pool at it is very shallow and allowed us to feel very relaxed in letting them go by themselves - althought there was someone wathcing the swimming pool at all times. Despite most of the hotel host taking sunbeds, we always found room and the staff always helped us find room for us - they free the sunbeds when un-used which was great. The food at the main restaurant was outstanding ! The quality, the range of food was excellent. The kids had their own special buffet and I must say the kids desserts were very successful (ice cream, popcorn, fruits, even "barbe a papa" !). Thanks to the kids club we, the parents, managed to have some parent time alone during the day and the evenings which was great - we ALL enjoyed our relax time there.

Our second stay at the LUX Belle Mare, which has been refubished / rebuilt (due to a fire) since our first visit in 2017. Its a great hotel with an equally amazing staff. The resort, its beach as well as all faciliities are exellent. We had an issue with mold / water damage in our bathroom which was quickly attended to and a new room and a free dinner was offered as compensation. Food and drinks throughout the resort are delicious, only caveat is that the prices seem to have spiked since our last visit, so dinner in the buffet restaurant for 2 adults and two kids, ages 2 and 4 (food only, no drinks), now comes in at MUR 12,000 (aprox. EUR 250), which is a bit much in my view. Other sister resorts offers free buffet dining for kids below age 5. Would strongly recommend staying at this resort when in Mauritius

Beautiful garden, nice beach. Perfect for families

Lux Belle Mare is the perfect location for a beach getaway. The service & personel were so friendly and outstanding. It also has one of the most beautiful beaches with sun chairs you can use for free. The restaurants & buffet (especially breakfast) is outstanding. The only point of improvement is the seating area of the buffet. We were often mixed with families & kids tables, which was not always pleasant to have a nice quiet dinner. Maybe you can consider to have a designated "family/kids area". But overall, 5 stars for sure!

Kherti, Kresley, and Sanju were excellent. They made our stay wonderful and always added a personal touch to the service. Wray an amazing property and staff. A must visit.

Recently renovated in October 2023 this family focused beach resort is brand new with a modern, relaxed and contemporary feel. Everything is spotlessly clean and new and designed to make your time effortless, such as a never ending supply of clean beach towels and buttons on the sunshades to call for service. Talking of service, nothing is too much trouble for the staff who do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel has a prime spot on a delightful beach with plenty of sand and a swimming area in the sea. Inevitably, prime spot sun beds are grabbed early but there are plenty along the beach or around the pool. The pool is huge and takes a central place in the resort, as it is the only pool it tends to be taken over by children but it’s not noisy and is spacious enough. The restaurant looks over the pool and provides a wonderful selection of great quality food all day long (buffet style for breakfast and dinner). There is one other beach club style restaurant right on the beach which has a cool vibe but as it’s the only other option included in the packages it is often booked up. For extra money there is an Indian and Chinese fine dining option and you get a 30% discount here if you are on an all inclusive package. There is a simple spa with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi to relax in and the resort offers snorkelling trips and a few sailing boats and pedalos. The rooms are amazing and the junior suites are spacious and extremely comfortable.

I really appreciate the hospitality with which my Mother & I were welcomed and also with which we were seen off. They almost felt like family. I wish I could name everyone but will highlight Veena's welcome, Sanjay, Gopi and Alina's guidance about sightseeing & route, at the front desk, Chef Puran & Chef Subi's delicacies at the main dining hall & Amari by Vineet respectively. Vishal's generous hospitality at the dinner table making us feel at home and welcome. All the smiling faces greeting us at meals, Priya, Neha, Priyanka, Poonam and the list goes on. Chandini & team's hardwork in keeping our room environment clean & comfortable via their environmental services and last but not the least the hotel taxi drivers for taking us around to all the nostalgic places we really wanted to visit. The Hotel is beautiful too with the pool , beach & live singing. Will love to visit again. Thank you all.
