Great location, right next to a beautiful park and town centre

Located in the Almelo city center. Stayed 2 nights in the weekend with family. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Good spread of warm and cold dishes. Free parking in the hotel garage.

No instruction television. No coffee or tea in room only machine. Shower not completely working. Towels some damaged. White curtains not clean. Airco too cold. Hotel is old fashioned. Not cosy.

Great location, right in the middle of the city, very friendly staff and overall it’s a nice property, would stay here again. The room is comfortable, just a little dark with poor lightning, but with everything necessary for your stay. The property is located in the city center and you can walk to shops, restaurants or bars just in 5-10 minutes.

Our staying at Theaterhotel Almelo was very good. Our friends have a problem with the room, they didn't have door to the bathroom, but the receptionist was very kind and change the room. That was a plus.

Absolutely a lovely stay , Jill the front desk agent was personable, knowledgeable and pro active , understood my reservations and combined them so I would have the same room for entire stay , the room was very modern and clean
The shopping was incredible, rite around the corner from the property! Absolutely an amazing stay , breakfast n lunch buffet were excellent too

I had a great stay at the hotel! The staff were polite and helpful, and the restaurant was lovely. Although the building is older and the sound insulation isn't the best, it didn't detract from my overall experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

In the midnight, someone was screaming in front of the hotel and that disturbed my sleep.
Anyway, there was no problem with service of the hotel.

Nice Hotel directly at the olt theatre. Van der Valk typical modern design and fantastic service. They have a nice garden restaurant. Will come back !

Hotel staffs are very friendly but room condition was very bad. Many things are broken or are not working either. The hotel has to improve the management quality. The frige in the room so dirty. Check the photos which are attached to this review!!! Literally, the frige looks disgusting!

Staff is very helpfull and friendly. The only negative point was the temperature in the room. Because it was very hot outside and there is no airconditioning in the rooms, temperature was too high inside.

Overall is value for money, but my standard room dont have air-con and it was summer when I was there, so, too warm for me. But other type of rooms have air con I think. Also, after room service, they didnt top up the coffee & bottle water, but anyhow its still OK for me.

Hotel was lovely , room
Fantastic , breakfast worth every penny. However the WiFi didn’t work so I was unable to do any work which was frustrating and I was kept awake by a noisy party in the hotel until
1 am.

This hotel is always easy and luxurious at an affordable rate. Breakfast option is great, dinner and cocktails downstairs, accessible to local area, shopping, walking, etc

A great hotel with everything you need, right in the heart of Almelo. Lots of room to relax in the lobby/lounge, a bar and restaurant. I highly recommend you include the breakfast in your stay, it was excellent. It is right on the edge of the town and there is an excellent place to walk in the trees right next door on one side, and the town's business are on a brick street on the other side.

The best place I have stayed in Almelo, overall. The only problem was the noise from the room above. With the hard floors, my room resonated every time the guy upstairs moved his chair. Please put some soft feet on the furniture legs!
