My family and I did not enjoy our stay, the refrigerator was not working properly, we put a request in and no one showed up. The breakfast on Saturday was not appetizing and overpriced. After we came back from our event our room wasn’t cleaned we had to request towels and additional supplies. The kids wanted to go to the pool and the water looked cloudy and bugs were flying every where because someone jammed a window open. We will not return to this hotel unfortunately. We let the staff know what was going on but they told us they cannot help us because we booked third party. That excuse is terrible because regardless of how we booked we are customers and deserve for our concerned to be taken seriously. My husband and I are Hilton Honor’s members but chose to book through Expedia because we had a credit for a stay. We were displeased to see how it feels to stay with Hilton through a 3rd party.

I always stay here when I travel to Birmingham - I love the location, the property is updated and very clean, and the staff are always super friendly!

The hotel and surrounding areas was very safe and inviting, staff super nice, breakfast buffet better than most hotels these days.

Great staff clean rooms

I was traveling with my husband and 2 year old. We booked the King suite for Thursday through Sunday. This is our 4th time staying at this hotel in 3 and 1/2 years. After we got checked in and were bringing our stuff into the room, my daughter (2) went into the shower to look at it and came out holding a wad of long black hair. Thursday evening while getting ready for bed I noticed the sink in the main bathroom barely drained. The sink would fill up and almost overflow in the time it took for the water to warm up. Very inconvenient when trying to wash your face. When taking a shower, water would outside of the shower door and the floor (and bath mat) would be soaked. The tv in the bedroom (where the king bed was) didn’t work. Thankful that there was. Tv in the “common room” The counter in both bathrooms was not thoroughly cleaned prior to us checking in. I recleaned the counters so that I knew they were clean. Again, this is the 4th time we have stayed in this hotel since 2021 and this stay was our worst because of the things listed above.

Very nice stay, very pleasant atmosphere

Front desk staff was not very friendly. When I checked in staff was very short. Never explained anything about the hotel, restaurant, etc. Every time I have checked into a hotel the staff explained any amenities they had. They seemed to only be worried about being overbooked. The next night when purchasing items from the pantry, front desk staff again seemed preoccupied and again was not very friendly.

Friendly staff but dirty rooms. The bathroom was not properly cleaned. Someone had used the restroom without flushing and there was hair everywhere.

It was nice but the bathroom toilet was slow to flush. That’s about the only issue I had.

The staff at the front desk were professional and kind. The tables in the room and the sinks did not appear to have been cleaned. There were glass rings on various pieces of furniture. The beds were comfortable. For the price of the room you should not have to pay for breakfast; however, we had no problem paying for the 5:00 pm meal. This was a problem though because it still was not open at 5:25 pm. Thank you.

I have stayed at this hotel before and liked it very much, but this time was not the best experience. The room was not ready - maintenance caulking in the bathroom - despite the hotel not being very full and us arriving well after check-in time. There were stains on the sofa, the doors to the cabinets were crooked, the toilet was running, and there was water on the carpet and staining in spots. There was just a sense that the room wasn't guest ready. I provided feedback the next day and hopefully they will make improvements. I would also add that they probably would have moved us but we were too tired after a very long day of travel and had already brought all of our stuff into the room. I didn't discover the wet carpet until getting into bed and just put towels over the spots. The staff is nice overall and I wouldn't say don't stay here, but perhaps ask for a room that has been upgraded.

Excellent friendly staff. Bedside reading lamb bulb was burnt out and no replacement available. Window shade jammed down.

Only complaint is the bar hasn't been open the last couple of times we were there.

The location was very nice. The hotel from outside looked amazing. Once you entered however, the feeling changes... The staff is not very friendly, and have attitudes as customers seen as inconveniences. My room, for 5 days, was very lightly cleaned as it seems they spent 5-10 minutes cleaning. The shade on one of the windows did not work, so I had to sleep with one of the windows open as bright light from outside shined in.

Clean, quiet, everything we needed!

My entire experience was great. The room was nice and clean, the showers were super hot (my favorite part) and the staff was professional and helpful. 10/10 highly recommend!

We have stay at this property 5-6 times over the last several years and this last stay was just not at the same level as our previous stays. The oddest thing was the box of tissues in bathroom had tissues/box soaked in something other than water. We reported it to front desk and while they gave us new box there was barely an apology. Overall the property is seeing a drop in service, cleanliness, and maintenance.

This hotel is close to my daughter’s, so we have stayed here several times. It is always clean and the staff is friendly.

It was a beautiful property. We were only there 1 night, came in very late and left in the morning but staff was very nice, the hotel was clean and our room was clean and restful. We would stay there again.
