Affordable and in the middle of everything. Tons of food choices and walking distance from tour pickups. Can get noisy because of all the pedestrians. Fit all our needs. Accommodating staff.

The location is great and value for money is good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Note: this is an old, unrenovated city hotel. Don't expect too much. If you want to be picky and complain, then don't come! Many things need upgrading, but, then the price will go up too. We found nowhere else at this budget hotel price.

The accommodation is dated but clean.

Friendly and helpful staff. Heater was not working and fan in bathroom. Comfortable bed. Handy location.

Ease of locality and transport, restaurants etc. Safe with 24hr security. A very leaky shower onto the floor but nice hot shower and comfy bed. New towels each day.

Great location, but if an older place but done up nice and clean. Well worth the money.

You pay for the location. Service was great. But property and rooms are old and rundown.

Staff were fantastic. Food options galore in the same area, everything was clean, handy cook top for self catering. Lift was very useful. Beds and pillows very comfy.

Nice cheap clean and friendly location for any Melb trip. Looking at booking again next time. I don't need a $300 room whne I'm out all day and only return to sleep. These rooms are a great option. Even the showers are nice and hot.

Was good area with being close to shops and public transport

I personally felt this was a good place to stay in! I booked for 12 days and 11 nights at the studio apartment. Upon arrival I was greeted by the lovely lady and was allowed early check in at 11am. The room to me was great. Yes the decor was outdated but it had everything I needed for my stay. The room and toilet was clean and comfortable and the room had all the amenities (pots, pas, stove, toaster, glasses, bowls, cutleries, kettle, dishwashing supplies). There’s even shampoo and soap provided in the bathroom. So you definitely get what you pay for. There’s also a washer and dryer that you can pay to use. The location is by far the best you can expect. The tram is just a short walk from the hotel and there are many restaurants nearby so I didnt need to think about my next meal. The area is also quite busy so I felt safe walking at night. The noise from the street didnt bother me too much during my stay as it was quite faint and only during the weekend since everyone is hanging out at the eateries nearby the hotel. During checkout they helped store my luggage whilst I did my final visit in the city.Overall I had a great experience staying here and made my trip enjoyable and if I’m ever back in the CBD I would definitely stay here again!

Cheap reasonable quality place, but very noisy area.

Staff is friendly, but hotel is dirty, bagagelabels from from 7 months ago under the bed and loads of dust. , cracked windows, really bad wifi, You can get clean sheets for $30 a time, Fire escape is blocked by laundry trolleys and garbage in the emergency stairway. Not a hotel to recommend

Handy location in the city, close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. Room was a bit dated, but comfortable nevertheless; good hot water system and water pressure. Has a kitchen, but only used toaster while we were there. Front desk staff are available at all times and very friendly. Good deal with local parking station with multiple entries and exits. Make sure you book through the hotel before parking to access the good deal.

Cost was good, but smelt bad when I walked into the room and the walls in the hallways had scuffs and marks all over them, so some maintenance to the building would be good. Price and convenience was good

Comfortable bed and good shower. Great for late checkin room A bit tired and worn, a bit of early noise and clatter from the laneway. Good value for central location.
