My second visit to the Grand Bali although it’s been 10 years apart. The property is really showing signs of ageing and needs a thorough update. No wash cloths in the bathroom on arrival. Asked reception but was told they don’t supply them anymore??? Phone system in all the rooms were “out of order” the entire stay…I asked what if there was an emergency and we needed to alert reception….they just smiled and said it I’ll be ok??? 3 days there was no coffee available at breakfast “machine broken” The pool bar was never attended by anyone so if you wanted drinks/food you had to go inside the restaurant to order. However, like most hotels in Bali the staff were very accommodating and friendly. *NOTE* there are no elevators at this hotel so if you have any trouble climbing stairs make sure you don’t book a 3rd floor room.

The staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating. We arrived early for check in before heading off to play golf. Our bags were moved to our room and waiting when we returned. They also upgraded us which was a very nice surprise. Room was great, restaurant, pools and lounge were all amazing. Nothing bad to say about this stay.. price was more than fair, amenities like 24hr convenience, laundry, taxis all just outside the doors of the hotel. Would recommend to others and happy to stay again if we return.

It is an older hotel but truly a grand one. The courtyard with twin 66 foot pools is an oasis of beauty. They have a beach club and a shuttle goes back and forth regularly. The breakfast is sumptuous and includes western and Asian foods. They did not do gluten free but with all the available choices, who cares! The beach club is gorgeous and the beach is wonderful- sandy, clean and so warm.

The most impressive aspect of my stay at this hotel was the kindness of the staff. The rooms were clean, and I was able to enjoy a very peaceful environment. While the complimentary shuttle bus provides transportation to the beach and shopping center (Bali Collection), it takes over 30 minutes, but it's also possible to walk there. Along the way, there are many local restaurants and souvenir shops. The hotel facilities are a bit old-fashioned, and the power outlets in my room were only of the Indonesian type.

This is a smaller hotel (60 rooms) and we visited in February so the hotel was quiet. The rooms are large and generally excellent, the bathroom is one of the best I’ve seen in a hotel. The room was very clean and well looked after by our housekeeper. The pool area was absolutely wonderful, we spent lots of time here. The hotel is ordinary looking from the front but thankfully improved when we climbed the stairs to the lobby. The breakfast was average but the lunches and juices by the pool were fabulous. For the price it’s a good choice and I would definitely stay again just for the pool area.

Its sad that it has no elevator which should be installed for the convenience of those who are physically challenged, the elderlies and those with carriage or hand luggage etc.

Everything was good except the restaurant

Marsha at reception was a delight and upgraded our room. All our requests were attended to promptly. Very pleasant pool area. Only negative was the coffee from the coffee machine which was undrinkable.

The staff are the best, so kind and friendly.

Huge luxuries and clean, the swimming pools are awesome, restaurant food and service outstanding, breakfast bacon & eggs pancake’s cooked in front of you the chef so polite and accommodating. Rooms cleaned daily and beds made. Staff so polite and helpful. Excellent value

Loved the charm amd character of the hotel...classic Balinese without the pretentiousness and expense of the western style hotel precinct (Marriot, Regis, etc) nearby.

My stay was amazing except few small issues related to bathroom which Hotel fixed immediately. Breakfast Buffet was good, but they could consider adding more cuisines.

I loved the location as it was close to al the restaurants. The twin swimming pools and the grounds were beautiful. The staff were lovely and our housekeeper was fantastic. The room was always clean and he even left me towel swans on the bed for my birthday. Thank you for making our holiday perfect.

Our stay was wonderful. I was unsure of the property's location in regards to dining and shopping but it was fantastic Our room was beautiful. Our dining experiences not so.The cost of food and drinks with the tax and service charges was quite expensive and our meals were not up to the standard that I thought this hotel would offer.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice big bed room, good breakfast, easy walking to the Bali Collection area, and local dinings. Right across from Circle K store, for any last minute snacks. Excellent location.

Great team, really try their best both in the hotel and at the beach club. The Balinese government are carrying out work on beach defences but this has meant a few issues with diggers and trucks going up and down the beach. Not the hotels fault but a bit of a pain especially when some of the bamboo laid for the trucks got washed into the sea causing a risk

The hotel staff were pleasant and very helpful, especially Marsha on reception. We have stayed here before but this time there was much more noise from furniture being dragged across the floor and doors slamming. This made our stay less pleasant.

I can highly recommend The Grand Bali Nusa Dua. All the staff were lovely and friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean.

All good, Balinese people are so nice and they need support after the pandemic and the special drama it has caused on this island only turned on tourism. Go there, help them!!!! Thank you

Hotel was clean and tidy, staff extremely helpful. Air conditioning didn’t work for a night, this was repaired as soon as it was mentioned
