The location of the property is good, a short walk into town. The property is a little outdated, the room had big carpet burns and was not very clean. The manager was so unfriendly. Now that we are familiar with Keystone i will use another hotel next time.

This property is advertised as pet friendly, but there is little to no sopts for dog relief. The property is also dated and a bit worn. The front desk staff at check-in was great, and check-in went quickly. If you need a place to stay close to Mount Rushmore, this will work

Nice friendly knowledgeable staff.

I loved our stay, we didn't even need to check in. We had a pin code to get into our room and it was very convenient. The only issue was we were worried about finding a parking spot at night. I had a wonderful time staying here.

Great location to go to Mount Rushmore and Ctazy Horse !!! Wonderful desk staff were very helpful for ways to see best views.

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION WE COULD SEE MT. RUSHMORE FROM OUR ROOM. STAFF WAS AMAZINGLY HELPFUL AND NICE! A LITTLE TUFF WALKING BACK UP THE DRIVEWAY AFTER GOING TO TOWN, BUT YOU CAN DRIVE DOWN IF YOU CHOOSE.

The location of the property was excellent with a view of most of Keystone and close for driving to Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Black Hills, Custer State Park and the Needles Highway. The view from our balcony of Mt. Rushmore was somewhat disappointing since only a portion of the Monument was visible due to an Evergreen tree blocking most of the Monument. We were able to see only Washington if we stood on the left side and only Lincoln is we stood on the right side of the balcony. Room 336

Great place next to Mt Rushmore. Breakfast served was waffles, sausage, biscuits and gravy etc. Big parking lot with a lot of spaces for bigger vehicles. Would stay here again. Friendly staff!

Location to town

This place is beautiful from the outside. Walking into the lobby, it looks great and smells wonderful. The hallways to the room have deodorizers and smell heavenly. This should have been our first clue. The room smelled horrid. The air conditioner was loud and falling off the wall and the smell... Absolutely gross. The bed was fine but the pillows were like sleeping on bricks. The shower curtain rod holder was rusty and falling off the wall and the carpet was like someone had rubbed syrup in it. The continental breakfast was horrible unless you like powdered eggs with too much water and boiled breakfast sausage. They had biscuits and gravy but not my thing so I didn't try it. Tried to pay for an upgrade in rooms but since we purchased on Expedia that was not allowed. We were supposed to be there for three nights... So bad, we left early. Check out took a while because another couple was also leaving early because their room flooded when the shower wouldn't drain.

Me and my family didn’t even last an hour in this place before we checked out. We had spiders crawling in the bed and dead bugs in the bathroom.

When we checked in we asked if we could upgrade to a room with a balcony and Angel (staff) was so very kind to to upgrade up to a balcony room with view of mount Rushmore. The hotel was in need a some remodeling and updating. But all in all it was a great place to stay and you could walk to downtown Keystone. If we ever come back I would stay there again.

Rooms were well appointed but extremely small. Breakfast was excellent and the jacuzzi well appreciated.

We stayed here 6 days. Our room was never cleaned. The only way we got towels was taking them off the maids cart. The place needs and upgrade on services.

Property needs renovation, signs of wear overall.

Cute town, old but kept up hotel. They advertised a suite with a Rushmore view. The only view was two heads from the parking lot. The suite had a love seat with a tv across from it as the living area, the kitchenette had a tiny mini fridge, microwave and tiny sink. The beds were comfortable. I guess it’s understandable as it’s a short season.

Everything is great! Front desk staff is very helpful. Only complaint is the smell of the room, it smells like wet carpet.
