Fantastic location to Mt Rushmore (literally 5 minutes from your door) and Crazy Horse Memorials Breakfast was filling (self serve waffles, toast, cerea,l tea/coffee). Comfortable rooms though lighting quite dark

The smell of chlorine/bleach throughout the halls was overpowering Be prepared if you travel later in the year that there is nothing in town open for dinner (lunch very limited)

Breakfast room very poor and food poor quality and prep. If someone should fall stepping out of bathtub/shower you would have a very difficult if not impossible task to get the door open for rescue!

Front office staff lacked proper training. The place needs a clean up!

The close location to downtown and beds were comfortable.

The pool was ICE COLD and the floor around pool was extremely slippery (there were warnings; however, even walking slowly caused slipping); the hot tub was not clean (was brown ring around it with some brown bubbles); the room sink drained very slow; the toilet was very low and flushed poorly; the window screen was falling out; the facility needs some serious updating; complimentary breakfast was adequate (however restocking the food depended upon who was staffing - the man kept it well stocked whereas the lady did not); noting the condition of the facility the cost was grossly overpriced! I did not find the registration desk very friendly or pleasant - I did state concerns at check out; however, staff did not seem to care as they did not listen until I asked if she cared then she wrote it down.

The bathroom was very very small, a vehicle alarm went off on floor level 2 for about 5 solid minutes - woke us completely up I am a choice hotel member and did not receive a gift- I thought as a choice hotel member I was suppose to.
