The only problem is the weight room was not available. It has been like that for my last 2 stays.

We have stayed at this location several times. Quiet clean location. Pillows were not my favorite but that is an issue I have with most hotels. Overall good choice and will book here again

I loved that the manager runs this place with respect and communication and structure and order.

You cannot adjust air conditioner. Management is misleading and blame you for issues. Tons of construction outside. This hotel is no where near ready to be occupied. Don’t bother looking for a gym or breakfast and don’t bother pretending the AC works, as well as any cable, Netflix. You can sit in silence, heat, humidity for $100 a night. Lucky you! The videos I have of the AC wind load.

Gave away my hotel room after being fully paid for 3 days before arrival. No help to locate another, no call in advance, just a night clerk at 1:00 am telling me I had no place to stay!

Nothing Worked. I've stayed at La Quinta's too many times to count all over the country and this was the first time I've had a negative experience. The location was very weird with a kind of maze to get in and out of. The elevator was broken at we had to haul our suitcases to and from the 3rd floor. The elevator was broken when we got there and when we left. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because it had a gym but when I got there the gym was closed and under construction. If they would indicate they were remodeling their gym I wouldn't have stayed here. The bathroom door wouldn't close/lock. The door jam where the deadbolt part of the lock went in wasn't true so it wouldn't stay closed. The TV's weren't even set up properly. Maybe 1/3 of the channels worked while the others weren't available. I feel like this location was in the process of being built and nothing was finished yet. Definitely don't start at this hotel for a while as they have a lot of stuff to fix.

Wonderful hotel accommodations. Very comfortable accommodations. Definitely worth the money. Not a disappointing event. Very impressive environment and a great location. Will stay again when in Allen Texas.

Comfortable clean stay but the ad said nothing about the fact that we couldn’t use the pool or workout room

Room smelled of cigarettes and weed. Asked to be moved the second night due to this, were denied and our room wasn’t even cleaned. Was told manager would contact us. Still waiting. Remodel made it a mess everywhere too.

The room I reserved was stated to be accessible. When we arrived, they had rented out all of their accessible rooms. I’ve had knee surgery and am non weight bearing. A regular room on the third floor is very hard for me to manage. Extremely disappointed.

We were very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. We got a one bedroom suite. It was huge, bedroom, bathroom and living room. The only problem we had was the hide a bed was horrible! I had to go out and buy a blow up bed in order to sleep. Those mattresses NEED to be changed. Everything else there was 100%.

Hard to find and access due to construction and lack of signage. Bathroom faucet mostly clogged and tub spicot was loose. TV channel access was too confusing with no directions. Room was comfortable with good pillows. Fair breakfast. Overall, below average for LaQuinta chain.

Very clean, conveniently located. Employees were very nice and helpful. Toilet in room was WAY too low and sink was too high. Curtains don't close all the way so it's fairly bright at night. The parking is bad right now due to remodeling construction, but that should change.

Instead of the warm decor La Quinta typically hast this hotel has cold shades of grey contemporary decor throughout with harsh 5000K lighting. VERY unattractive IMO.

We've stayed at this particular location on several occasions. The property and staff were much better in times past. Beyond the hotel's control, two storefronts that totally block your view of the hotel have been built within the last six months. This makes it very difficult to locate the property without GPS. Our last two stays were marginal at best. It's understood that the hotel is undergoing renovation, but it has been an ongoing process for two years and it's far from complete. The contractors are not considerate of the hotel guests with there music blaring as the work, regardless of their proximity to guest's rooms. Our last stay was during the solar eclipse of 2024. When we booked, we only needed a single king. However, our need changed and a double queen room was needed. It's understood that the hotel was sold out during that time, but when we inquired about a possible roll-out bed or possible room change in case someone canceled, the front desk manager was very curt and displayed really bad customer service. The front desk clerk however, understood our need and politely notified us of an available room and completed the transfer. As often as we visit Allen, I don't see booking another stay at this particular hotel in the future.

April 2024: The hotel is in an area surrounded by nothing but construction, which is fitting, as the hotel was also under construction (for a remodel), which was never disclosed to me as I booked it. Fortunately or not, I became ill at the beginning of my stay (NOT related to the hotel) and needed to leave early and the hotel staff were very kind and accommodating. Once the remodel is finished and the area around it is built up, it will be a great place to stay.

the hotel is in a remodel, and so was the building next to it. getting access into the front drive was a battle, then there were building materials blocking a big part of the drive. the lobby had building materials in it. tiles missing all in front of the elevator, paint smell everywhere.

Pretty hotel , very smart rooms

There’s construction but we weren’t told beforehand. The room hand a weird smell. The stairwell was disgusting. The elevator wobbled if you moved in it. The tv in the room didn’t work. We didn’t have towels in our room and when we asked the front desk she says she didn’t have any extra. There was no blow dryer in the room either. The room felt dirty along with the rest of the hotel.

The hotel is under construction. Our room was fine but room numbers were falling off the walls and there were places where the tile had had been pulled up right in front of the elevator so you really had to watch your step. There was construction supplies and equipment out front. If I’d known this I would’ve booked somewhere else.

as a cinstruction worker i was dissapointed at how much trash and construction material was around the property. i did read the reviews ao was not surprised but felt they could have taken more time to and effort to limit how it impacted the guests. spent 4 months living in a house in north carolina while doing a massive rennovation so i feel more coukd have been done. its mostly on the contractor but hotel staff needs to do better at naking them do better. room was clean and comfortable so met that need. on the room maintenance they need to use the right color and finish of oaint to do touchups. what they did was deplorable and that contractor should be embarrased at the quality of work

In the app or when you making reservations they should mention that property is remodeling to let people think about with all the chaos the construction is doing. The noise the dust… people were sanding down hallway next to the temporary breakfast area was being served!!!! I’m sorry but if I knew that was going to happen I would have booked in another hotel.

They are currently remodeling this location, was not known at time of booking. Were in the middle of doing tile floor work in the lobby and other main areas. However, rooms appeared to already be remodeled and were nice. Appears will be very nice place to stay once the remodel is completed.
