Fun property with great views. If you have many stairs, you should have someone to help with luggage like many other hotels. Other than That, everything was fine. Nice size room, good room.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Casa Guadagno! Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Great location that’s only about a 10-15 minute walk to Positano’s main piazza. Would highly recommend Casa Guadagno to anyone visiting Positano.

Everything was perfect. Filoteo was great on every single detail. Breakfast is great. I would just advise elderly that we had around 120 steps down to get to our room and the same number up to arrive on the street.

The staff was amazing and the location was so clean and lovely. You can walk easily to everything.

The small hotel nestled in the cliff-side itself is quite charming! In addition, you couldn't ask for a more accommodating, friendly, and warm staff. Breakfast on the terrace was delightful and cheery and they offered a wonderful selection of different items to choose from. Our room had a wonderful view of the Ocean and although the rooms are small, the bathroom and deck were still a good size and made it feel bigger. We are so happy we chose this hotel!!

Staff is very friendly and helpful

We stayed for 3 nights. Walkable (is stairable a word?) to everything in Positano. Leave the car at home! (we did not have one) the staff were able to arrange all of your transfers and reservations. Many of which were the day of with short notice. We would just sent a message, and about 15 min later we had our reservation! Great breakfast every morning. 500 stairs direct to small beach. Drinks from the mini bar and lobby are less expensive than the small store in town.

Wonderful gem. Lovely rooms with a nice balcony to view the sea. Little touches such as a small clothesline, tea and coffee and iron and ironing board. Yummy breakfast. Hosts very friendly and great communication. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

Our rooms was delightful with a partial view of the water. We appreciated the friendliness and accommodating nature of the staff. Breakfast was delicious.

The property is kept up nicely and the rooms are very clean. The pictures are accurate. The location is nice for those who want a more peaceful atmosphere. With that said it's a bit out of the way from restaurants and shopping. Most of Positano is walking and climbing stairs but just know that this hotel requires even more due to its location. Overall, I thought the hotel was great, the staff is very friendly, and it is a great value. However, if you are looking to be closer to the main part of Positano for a more lively atmosphere this may not be a good option.

What a great place to stay. The location is close enough but also a quiet oasis. The family who run the hotel are so good and so friendly you almost feel like part of the family. Great breakfast and the best coffees. Will definitely recommend and hopefully stay again.

This property has a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea! The staff is extremely hospitable and has excellent communication with guests. It is within walking distance to restaurants and shops as well as beaches. We had an amazing stay and we highly recommend this property!

We are in love with Positano. Casa Guadano has beautiful views. Staff were so helpful in recommending restaurants and giving directions. Our room was clean and cool with a gorgeous ocean view!

Fantastic stay at Casa Guadagno. What a beautifully run, friendly family hotel. It is Positano, so there are stairs and walking everywhere, but the hotel was fairly convenient to get to and from the centre of town by bus. There are several dining options and shopping within walking distance as well. We had a lovely room with balcony and enjoyed fantastic breakfast every morning. We hope to come back to this lovely hotel again.

Positano is one very expensive place to stay at especially if you’re staying downtown. This hotel is quite a little surprise and it’s only a 11 minute walk from downtown just don’t do the stairs at the base of the mountain to get there as that’s like going to Hell and back physically. The hotel was a great surprise. The beds are a little dated, the same with the rooms, but it really doesn’t matter when you open the doors out to the balcony and look out to the sea. The hotel rooms were fantastic with their Positano charm floors and decor. The bathroom is a little small, but that’s like being in Italy as a whole . The breakfast was fantastic. The customer service was really fantastic. Jessica really is an amazing person who helped out in every which way when we had a problem or needed a reservation. This by no means is a place like The Four Seasons, but for the money and location, it offers a great amount for its visitors. The customer service really blew me away here, and that within itself deserves five stars. Everybody walks in Positano and it really isn’t that bad of a walk when you’re going down to Chez black restaurant or downtown plus walking down the hill there’s a variety of shops to stop by to the same with fantastic restaurants across the street and gelato around the corner. Don’t get diverted by the hotel online ratings. If you’re looking for a small old world charm Positano classic stay and here not ata big hotel, this is the place to go too. Highly recommended!

Everything was better than we could have expected. Check in was perfect and easy, We were running late they even waited for us. Our room was beautiful. We woke up to a splendid view and a spectacular breakfast I cannot wait to go back!

Friendly and informative staff. Checkout was a little earlier then most hotels since they require you to check out by 1030, but they were accommodating enough to hold our bags until we were ready to leave. Breakfast was a little basic, but the lovely staff made up for it. Overall, it was a great stay and I can’t wait to stay there again

Hotel was very communicative prior to arrival about parking or taxi options. They booked the parking for us. Closest parking is a 3 min walk from Hotel with few stairs. Great service. Lovely room and beautiful views. This is a great value for money. (This is really a bed and breakfast, not a Hotel) .

We had a fabulous stay here! The staff is incredible and so accommodating! The communication and helpfulness was unforgettable. We will definitely be staying here again next time we return!
