The stay was quiet and relaxing. Great food at the restaurant.

Because they asked for a deposit & we didn’t have the money on a card to pay so we weren’t allowed to stay or get our money back

The staff was great and especially Briar who checked me in and got everything I needed and made the process very nice and professional.

Nice pool and terrace area. Good breakfast buffet with good coffee!. Comfortable lobby sitting area.

i was very disappointed... Expedia confirmed I would have a room with 2 queen size beds but when I checked in they said all they had left was one with a king size bed .. The hallways were very hot .. the buffet breakfast was not worth 15 dollars .. the hotel definitely was overpriced at over 400 dolars

We have stayed on this property several times over the last few years and im sad to say it is going down hill. Double tree at one time was a beautiful, relaxing, accomodating place to stay but recently the amenities have gone away, $15 for a breakfast buffet that is 6 feet of very basic options, hot tub is broken so they drained it (very dangerous), in short you are no longer getting what you pay for. Economy maybe but my money is on greedy franchise and/or managment. Room was dirty, AC in room barely works, two drinks at the hitel bar cost us $50 +/- for short shot drink and a glass of barefoot wine. I will be taking my money elsewhere from now on and i would suggest you do the same.

I am highly disappointed in Double tree as not only were the clean towels hanging over the rusted utility door that connected to the shower but the 8 floor we stayed on was not smelling good and we later was told that it had water damage and the fan in the hallway was drying the carpet! Insane then the ceiling on the 8th floor was not covered and wires were hanging low over the fan very unsatisfactory if I had known I would not have paid online in Advance and I requested a full refund and on top of that the front desk AA female was rude to a customer in the lobby raising her voice to him it was insane we got and still had almost an hour wait to get to our room because the host Laquetta I’m probably misspelling her name….anyway she said it was no towels ready I said how we drove almost five hours and still have to wait in the lobby yes this was not safe clean or comfortable Refund is Requested

Perfect stay

Our room was not ready at 4pm like it was supposed to be. We had to wait a while and finally got in the room after 5pm. Chair was dirty and stained and hair in shower.

Every thing was great, except my booking was charged to my personal card after I had paid through Hotels.com. They fixed it, but now I have to wait 5 to 10 days for my money. Just inconvenient.

It was a good stay

Little bit over what i feel it was worth and to not have a free breakfast. $600 for 2 nights isn't really good and to not be right on the water. Other than that it was ok.

My friend and I wanted to get away for the weekend to a location near the gulf. This was an excellent choice as we did not want the casino atmosphere nor did we want to deal with the casino traffic. The hotel was extremely clean; The staff were professional; and the location was convenient. A great hotel to get away if you desire a nice weekend retreat!

No refrigerator in our room was very disappointing.

Our stay was decent. The hotel itself was nice, and the staff was friendly. But i had a huge problem with not having a microwave and refrigerator in my room. I have never been to ANY hotel that didn't have them in myroom. That was so surprising, because I've been to DoubleTree hotels before and NEVER had that issue!!! And when i asked about them, the said the rooms facing the parking was the ones that had them for whatever reason 🙄 That is ridiculous. They said they would try to get them to my room, but my whole stay, i didn't receive them. I had to keep getting ice for my drinks and my food couldn't be warm each night! I really think that should be definitely changed or considered a different method. Overall hotel was nice, just weird because i never had that happen!!!

I was amazed how clean the rooms were, but I think the food especially the breakfast buffet was a little expensive, when normally the breakfast is free with a lot of hotels. But overall, I would recommend to it to my friends.

Great place

Room was not ready for 4 pm check-in. There were multiple families waiting in the lobby. Air condition cover was falling off on arrival and was temperature was changing itself, sometimes w ac blowing warm air and had to be serviced while we were there. No extras like microwave or mini fridge in room. Food was not great and limited options.

All around great hotel

The property is good and the staff is excellent both times we've stayed. The peoperty does need an update. We did not have any towels in our room and the cable to the tv was unplugged for some reason.

There are so many well kept hotels for this prices. Sliding bathroom door was broken. Carpet was visibly dirty. Wasn’t worth the money

Our room was very spacious as was the bathroom. Short wait for elevators. Easy checkin and out.

Check-in was smooth. Staff members were friendly and helpful. Room was great! My experience pleasant and I would stay again!

Everything was great!

I was surprised by no refrigerator in the room. My guest commented that there was not a dirty clothes bag. Disappointed that we were unable to adjust the thermostat. Employee with political statement on their clothing and not a uniform shirt. Otherwise, it’s a great location for what we were there for and was pretty quiet for being next to a major roadway.
