Great place to stay. Very near to the lake front. Helpful host and staff. Kitchen is well equipped and a supermarket and a 4 square grocery store is near by, so making your meal is quite straight forward. But if you do not have time there are plenty of coffee bars, pubs and restaurants within walking distant at the town centre.

Unit was clean, tidy, comfortable and warm.
Parking is directly outside your unit. Some units overlook the grass play area.
Nice easy flat walk to lake 5 mins and into centre 10mins with plenty of choices for food. Supermarket has good choice.
Would definitely stay again for couple of nights.

Great little motel. Cleanest of the 6 hotel/motels I stayed at on the South Island. Rooms are small but comfortable for 1-2 people. Modern well equipped bathrooms. Spacious kitchens. Onsite parking is tight if motel is full but was fine during my 2 night stay.

Modest motel apt in a terrific location which is easily walkable to town, lake, groceries and restaurants. Irene runs a very efficient, organized place with everything you might need in a compact setting. Parking is easy and assigned, laundry is available in the laundry room for $4 wash, $4dry, one machine each. Customer choice for housekeeping or not. Towels, supplies, refreshed as requested. Very well run place.

This property is conveniently located for trips into Fiordland National Park. It's a small property but kept very clean. It was comfortable and nice. The parking was fine with a slot located right in front of the room and no stairs as all the units are on the ground floor. Te Anau is a "tourist" town with many dining options and little stores. The motel is close enough to visit everything without being in the middle of the noise. Definitely recommend.

Lots of useful amenities like dishes, microwave, fridge, cups, salt, pepper etc. Useful heater in bathroom. Well stocked tea, coffee, hot chocolate and even fresh milk. Each unit has their own car park. Short walk from the lakefront.
