Nice quiet HVAC. Some deferred maintenance.

We stayed at the Sleep Inn for 5 days. The location was perfect to see and do everything in Rapid City. Housekeeping is only available on request, but the staff gladly gave us coffee, cups, and towels as needed. We did have them come in one day and clean, which was nice. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was large, but could have used a fan. There also should be a nother bar or a shelf in the tub area. The shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were very nice. I liked having a bar of soap by the sink. Breakfast had a nice variety and the lady who worked there kept it well stocked and clean. We didn't use the pool or hot tub, because it wasn't appealing and the hottub was small. Overall we were very pleased, especially with the location. This is petty, but it bothered me that the lampshades had the seams in the front, not the back. Also there was dust on the back of the bed lamp, and dust on top of the microwave and refrigerator.

Our stay was great.

Check in was quick, bed was comfortable, but our room could really use a new AC unit. It was so loud, it woke everyone up every time it kicked on all night long. So annoying I was almost thankful we had to check out at 4am for a flight home.

The room was comfortable, staff was friendly, and there were a lot of choices for the hot breakfast.

Had a nice stay.

One of the best in our many travels from MD to MT and back. Definitely on our “stay here again” list. Close to 90 and plenty of places to get gas and food!

Property was well kept up. Breakfast was great for some one with a gluten allergy.

Wouldn't stay again. Staff was nice room ok dirty carpets. Ice machine only on 1st and 3rd floor one not working. Had to use laundry room very dirty trash over flowing in basket. Let staff know day before but never cleaned.

Great place to stay visiting all the attractions. Room was spacious & comfortable. Staff was very helpful & polite.

The room was spacious and comfortable. We did not like the breakfast buffet at all. It had the same options every day and it was not good. The hotel was in a convenient location near the Black Hills, and it was a good base to explore from.

The property is located with direct access to I - 90 which you can access the tourist areas. Many dinging options with some walkable.

Breakfast was the only real problem. Only one person working. No eggs, potatoes were cold in the middle, no syrup. The biggest issue was no coffee and when she would bring one out the line was so long it was empty again. We just left.

Comfortable beds. A few easy places to eat walking distance.

Clean room, indoor pool and hot tub plus a gym. Staff was courteous and friendly. Price was right.

AMAZING STAFF! Everyone that we encountered was pleasant and helpful! Room was great and the bed was comfy. We really loved the location of this hotel for our needs as well.

Our room was comfortable & clean. The pool & hot tub were fantastic. The breakfast was delicious ~ loved the biscuits & gravy, eggs & sausage links.

Good location, easy parking for my truck & car that I was towing. Great night sleep after driving cross country.

Pro: parking spot, ac / heat system working, big squeezable tubes of shampoo/conditioner/lotion Cons: dirty! Stained carpet, stained lamps, greasy stain on tv screen and mirror, dust everywhere, musky smell in the room...staff inadvertently trying to charge me twice in one night. Neutral: hot breakfast, available, average

Breakfast was great

Positives were the friendly staff, walk in shower, clean and comfortable bedding. Negatives were stained carpet in room, noise from other guests, and the area for dogs had trash, broken glass, and dried up grass. Breakfast was subpar with the same thing every day.

We could hear the people next to us talking and they were not loud

My children’s room had bed bugs so 2 of them had to sleep in our room. We were anxious all night for fear of bug bites! Didn’t even get an apology from the receptionist or management. There were traces of dead bugs on the wall which shows the place is really infested.

breakfast wasn't great but sausage eggs and biscuits n gravy were good.

Not much parking. Kind kitchen staff. Tiny eating area for a full hotel.
