Very friendly welcome, clean, modern room. Close to the beach. 15 minute walk to bars and restaurants.

Would have loved a microwave jug to heat milk for the provided hot chocolate . Heated towel rail could be added, and a window covering in the bathroom to create a cosy feeling for when in the wonderful bath .

The one bedroom unit was large, had a fantastic spa shower and the rooms were dark in the morning so we could sleep in.

The room was cleaned & well organised, pretty much all services was available. However, staff communication services was not good. Asked for a tax invoices due to tech issues could not printed out, asked to email didn’t send any email. Emailed them again no one answered. Then had to call to get an invoice. 4th attempt had to take just to get an invoice. In that sense it is poor and need to work on it. Otherwise it a good place to stay.

Excellent motor inn on edge of town. Good choice of restaurants within ten minute walk. Area around motel is quiet and safe. Would stay here again if in town.

The property was clean and comfortable but the management was poor. We had asked for a downgrade as our family could not join us and this was not recorded. Consequently when we went to book in we still had the big unit and not the downgrade requested . Hugh was extremely rude and in the end we just out. (. We did pay the tariff.) Will never return to be treated the way we were

Fairley was perfect for our need's, they even upgraded us to the 2 bed with queens instead of the family room. Great walk along the seafront and an easy walk into Ahuriri.

Very comfortable bed and the room was clean and well-resourced. The hosts were friendly and gave the impression they cared. Lovely people. I would happily come back and probably will.

We stayed at Fairley Motor Lodge for four nights with a secondary school sports team and would highly recommend this property. Great facilities, clean and comfortable rooms. Jane and Hugh were friendly and accommodating hosts and the staff were also lovely. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed in a 1 bedroom suite which was very spacious. Had everything you needed with a decent sized kitchen, table & chairs and lounge area with sofa, coffee table and large tv. Bathroom was big with a corner spa bath and shower over it - the extractor fan didn't seem to work very well though. Bed was comfy with electric blanket and a tv in the room. Parking in front of unit made it easy to unpack & pack up. We have stayed here before in a different room type and would absolutely stay here again.

Spacious studio, nice and clean. A bit of weird noise from the neighbour trying to get into our door at midnight and having a lot of doors banging at that time, but settled down after about 15 minutes and you can't control whos booked in!

The checkin was easy, the room smelt clean and fresh, and was! The bed was sooo comfortable. Easy stroll to the east quay and eatting, drinking establishments. Would definite return to Fairley

Stayed for one evening - found it to be in a very quiet part of the area, with easy access to the multiple towns in the area. Right next to the water...check-in was incredibly fast and efficient. Only concern was the noise (from other customers) from the exterior of the unit, which was significant at time

We only stayed one night, as we had to get home for more appointments, after our meeting the next day. I would happily recommend staying at The Fairley Motor Lodge, as it was clean, comfortable and quiet. The lady at Reception was cheerful and extremely helpful and there were teabags, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar and bathroom toiletries.The towels were thick and the sheets crisp.

We stayed for the Art Deco weekend, handy to Marine Parade by car. Across the road from the ocean. Comfortable, clean and quiet.

Lovely hosts, parking outside front door, private safe courtyard, good airflow, easy walk to port, close to city centre and marine parade.
Would be good to have a coffee table or small table to eat dinner when raining outside. we stayed in Room 15
