This place is amazing. Right on the beach. Food is delicious. Staff are extremely attentive. I have nothing bad to say.

It’s a beautiful resort hotel in Nungwi beach north of Zanzibar Island . It has a beautiful beach that you can swim plus a pool and great restaurants. Very relaxing nice place to end a Safari .

Perfect location in Nungwi, best food in town , breakfast included was a fantastic standard. Rooftop bar perfect for sunset. Rooms and amenities great standard for East Africa. Would 100% return to this hotel.

The staff starting from reception Kassim, Maryam and pool and restaurant staff Omar, khalifa, Ismail, mohamad, rabia all were wonderful to deal with. Location is great a walk to small shops and excuraions very close to the village and walking dostance to the night life.

Very good breakfast and services (meaning Tanzania). The cramped space of the hotel and garden. Tiny rooms.

We loved the hotell! The best parts: * Amazing view from the rooftop terrass, perfect for the sunsets * High quality gym * Great internet connection trough the whole complex * Wonderful view from the restaurants * Well managed pool area and near to the beach if you want to take a swin in the ocean Overall really high standard of everything

The staff are beyond incredible especially at the restaurant loved them all really! The hotel in general felt like home ❤️ Totally recommend it especially for honeymooners.

We were very happy that we chose to stay here on our recent trip. The hotel is right on the beach and all the staff could not be more helpful, accommodating and welcoming. It was very nice also that the General Manager (Julie) personally welcomed us and took an interest throughout our stay in ensuring that we were happy with everything.We were on a bed and breakfast basis which suited us perfectly, we ate both in the Hotel and local area and can recommend both.All in all a very nice place to stay in Nungwi.

The swimming pool is great with a view of the beach and staff is super friendly. Great view of the beach from the breakfast restaurant which makes a wonderful start of the day!

Went here on a friend’s recommendation and was so glad we did. A little above our normal budget but definitely worth the extra -especially in Africa where the attention to detail is not always there. We found the staff to be a real asset - friendly and available and quick to respond. The beds were super comfy with down pillows, the shower reliable (a big thing, honestly!) and good attention to detail. We ate in the restaurant three is the four nights as in the one night we ventured out we were off colour the next day. The menu is varied with excellent fish, of course, and the portions are generous. I would probably take the dinner inclusive option next time. The infinity pool is well placed to observe the beach and there are beds on a small private section of the sand. Although the whole island has many beach boys I was not really bothered by them whilst sticking to this area and they are all good humoured in any case. The well designed gardens were almost manicured and the paths etc regularly cleaned We organised a snorkelling/lunch trip on a dhow which was a great experience for $45 for two. We also took some dictionaries, pencils and a donation for the local school which the hotel helped us with - they were really pleased with thesaurus if you’ve got a few spare kgs in your luggage!

The location is great and the staff is very nice and helpful. The restaurants and the food are amazing. Just to say something "negative" the access road to the hotel is not in a very good condition and it doesn't make it very easy to drive in and out specially if you self-drive like we did. Other than that is a fantastic place to stay! Highly recommended!

The Z Hotel is a fantastic little spot in the paradise of Nungwi beach! The staff were all fantastic and so friendly we loved it and cannot wait to return in the future.

Absolutely gorgeous. Fabulous roof top lounge to watch the sunset. Best spot in Nungwi.

Located on a nice section of beach. Nice facilities. Good restaurants. The room was cheery, with nice little decorative touches every day. The ONLY thing was that the pool just a bit too warm to feel refreshing during the warm afternoons.

Great little property in a beautiful location on the beach! Excellent food, great staff and very well cared for property. Perfect for relaxing and the spa provided a top-notch massage and scrub!
