We were in room 18 at the top and the pillows were like folded up towels. Other than that was good.

Lovely , clean ,& comfortable. Service excellent. 10 minute walk to Kew Gardens . Shops very near . 5 minute walk to / from Kew Station . Would use again.

Great hotel in a wonderful location in Kew with easy access to other locations in London. Beautiful accommodations and would highly recommend.

It was a lovely, clean room with a few charming period pieces (the desk was even a modified old Singer table sewing machine) and all the necessary comforts. I appreciated that the windows opened a bit, the curtains were blackout, and there were plenty of pillows. There location cannot be beat - easy walk to the train station, conveniences, and Kew Gardens.

Kew gardens hotel was easy to check into. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bar/diner on the ground floor was easy going with good food. We really liked our stay here.

room was in desperate need of upgrading and on direct flight path for Heathrow airport which meant less sleep as planes very frequent
Pub nice & food very good but would definitely not stay again & way overpriced for poor standard of room. Complained re maintenance issues but staff member disinterested . Neither does it warrant the review score

The room was tiny as were the beds …. Hardly had room for two suitcases …. The ac unit was in effective and overall stay was not enjoyable.

Great location to visit Kew Gardens. We spent a few days walking about the local parks. Felt like a lovely, safe and friendly neighbourhood and Kew Gardens station is a five minute walk.

Stayed here a few times, we like the location near to Kew Gardens Tube station. Good value for money. Can be very hot in the rooms in summer with limited AC but fans are provided. Staff are friendly and helpful.

It’s okay, nothing lavish about the place but it’s ideally positioned a couple of hundred yards from the train station and about quarter of a mile from Kew Gardens. So if you’re attending something late at Kew and travelling in by train it’s a perfect place to stay the night

Lovely hotel convenient to National Archives and Kew Gardens, good food in restaurant and good places to eat nearby. Rooms small but clean, nice mattress (a rarity in UK hotels that are not incredibly expense).

It was just right for our needs, a one night stay so we could go to Kew Gdns and Hampton Court. Clean, good beds, good bathroom. Staff were super helpful and helped us with our several pieces of luggage up the stairs. Had a good restaurant at the front. Had a lovely stay!

Needs major improving spending on it carpets thread bear on stairs, no shelves for bathroom equipment,food average,7 sets of stairs to top attic room not for the over 60,s very hot room even taking into account temp at the time ,fan a waste of time, should be highlighted on booking as wouldn't have booked, al in all left one night early paid for 2.

Room was perfectly adequate, a little warm as it was at top with no air con but staff were very friendly and accommodating and offered a good full English breakfast, although It may be nice to have a continental option. Well placed hotel for Kew station

Very friendly helpful staff. We had breakfast and it was excellent, served by a cheerful member of staff. We were allowed to store our luggage at the hotel after checkout time while we walked around.

The room had willow bug… had no paint , As I complained one of the staff came killed one of the bugs and said it’s fine…. I already killed it!!!!

The location was almost ideal, only steps to the old town. I say almost ideal because the bar next door was super loud the first 2 nights. We needed earplugs. Third night was quiet. Don’t stay here on Fri or sat night.

Cute, quaint hotel with large, comfortable rooms. Pub was excellent! Service and food were great. Within walking to Kew Gardens and very close to metro which made getting to Heathrow easy when we left.

The room was comfortable but could do with some modernisation. That said it was clean & presented well. I would suggest the bathroom would benefit from a shelf to place your toilet bag etc

You’re a stones throw from Kew Gardens Station and half that to Kew gardens itself. Nice Room, great staff, it’s a Pub hotel with bar and good food.

Pretty poor - dirty, badly maintained. The weekend staff were classically lacking in much sense of customer service. Although the manager I met on Monday morning was great. I realize this is a "budget" place but you can offer budget and still be clean and pleasant!

Lovely pub in a beautiful area. 2 minute walk from station so really good location for exploring Kew and Kew Gardens.
The room was comfortable, clean had a bath with a novelty in London hotels. Value for money was great.
A little wear and tare but nothing I would expect. The mattress could do with replacing in my room, but it wouldn't put me off rebooking.
All in all I'd recommend for a night or two.

Everything went smoothly. it had a separate entrance to pub which was good as came back late. Friendly staff. Would stay here again.
