I have to say I would stay there again

Room was reasonable size and bedding was clean and comfortable. Property seem little bit dated and there was no reception but plenty of parking.

We booked a standard room and found that it only had single beds and no double beds, unlike what was shown in the pictures. The place does not even have a manned reception and you have to call. So I called and enquire why there was no double bed. They blame me for booking through wotif and said wotif have old pictures that showed a double bed but it does not. Claimed that their standard rooms were like this for 2 years. Who would know!! Anyway turns out their online checkin also shows a picture of the room with a double bed!! So they don't update their own pictures either. Furthermore the TV was broken and the bathroom sliding door does handle was broken too.

Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean, large and everything was spot on

Nice view, smooth check in-out. A great place to stay as it is just a short distance to resto and other shops.

Getting into the room early was great

The room was quiet, tidy and spacious with a lovely view and effective heater. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were helpful and reasonably prompt when assistance was needed. Although instructions were to wash your dishes, no detergent was supplied. The large bed appeared not to have had sheets changed as one side of the pillowcase smelt like sweat and there were a few head hairs between the sheets. Ignoring that, we were very comfortable.

The property is past its best days and needs a spruce up. The fridge is sitting directly on floor so is difficult to open against carpet (this is an easy fix - just sit it on a thin piece of plastic or timber). I did not use draws or cabinets but most were loose on their hinges. Having plates and utensils for eating but only bathroom sink to wash up is pretty average, although I chose unit for microwave and this was good. TV reception was poor. I could only get a picture on a couple of channels (I could get audio on a lot more). For 1 or 2 nights accommodation is good, but any longer would be a struggle. Remote check-in worked well.

Good room, no reception entry by code to phone but worked OK, Bed was SHORT SHEETED!!! Cardinal sin. Was this a joke? Not funny. Bed comfortable after I re-made it.

Beautiful views over Lake Jindabyne. Sliding windows for fresh air, spacious room, quiet location, comfortable bed and pillows.

The room is good with fantastic views of the lake. The bathroom was second rate with dirty toilet and mould and dirt around the bath. Had to buy some mould killer and spray bath. Had to clean toilet with the toilet brush and use dishwashing detergent supplied.

The rooms were very basic and had minor issues such as an exhaust fan not working in my room. The property manager James was very friendly and helpful. However, the check-in and checkout were all done without staff contact.The property was value for money.

The property is incorrectly rated as 5 star, would rate at 3 in its present condition. Missing hairdryer, dirty windows and hard to open. Missing bedside table. Mouldy shower curtain. The property had no access to reception, bar or dining areas. All closed up for summer? Rooms badly need renovations.

I was a bit confused with the cleaning of the dishes, was that my task or the properties. Overall it was decent for a one night stay. Everything worked.

The property is in poor condition, smells and staff are absent. Expensive for what is on offer. The owners did not respond to direct feedback. Apparent that care for guest satisfaction is nil. Very disappointing experience.

Onsite reception would have made stay better. Not very friendly overall; however the room itself was clean and comfortable with a nice bath/shower. Also appreciated the guest laundry and complementary soap.

Staff and service: there was none as it was a key pick up. The shower was dirty/ mould buildup and the vanity sink was well worn. The actual shower, while good flow was lukewarm/ cold, while using only the hot tap. In the middle of winter, a hot shower would be a basic necessity. The outside area on the top verandah: both tables were broken and seats not good, the children’s play area was also run down and broken.

The accommodation was too basic, very old & needs upgrading.

The property was generally tidy and the location was good and qutie convienient for access to shops as well as heading to the slopes. I was a little dissappointed with the room. The bathroom exhaust fan and sliding door didn't work. It was pretty cramped and no area to put luggage other than stuffing it under the bed. Also no area to hang anything. We were there in winter and the room is very drafty but we managed to keep it warm enough by setting the air con to 28 the whole time. To be fair, the room was advertised as basic and while it seemed pretty pricy for what we got, that may just be what's expected during snow season.

Restaurant locates at the same location. Easy access due to connecting building.

Property is run down.

Paid non-refundable reservation for room with housekeeping available if requested. After paying, received email advising no housekeeping daily. When I requested housekeeping, told it was not included and not possible as housekeeper had left for the day - a lie, as the housekeeper was seen delivering bedding after the phone call. Paper thin walls and noisy. Managers are rude, wotif misrepresents the property, spend your money elsewhere.

The property was unbelievable clean and what I was highly impressed was the room was quite warm. Self check-in and check-out were convenient.
