We ended up with a last minute night in St Malo and the Ibis Styles was a great option, knowing that we could get a good standard hotel for a reasonable rate. It was perfect for what we needed at the time and the front desk staff were exceptional :)

Consistent Ibis quality inside Intra Muros. No parking but there is a public car park just outside the walls, a couple of minutes walk away. Very conveniently located near to restaurants bars and shops. The lift is absolutely miniscule but that is to be expected as they have renovated a very old building. Some of the Intra Muros hotels are a bit hit and miss so I was really pleased to find this one. The actual rooms are a few metres walk from reception in a separate entrance. Rooms clean and adequate. We had a port view room which was lovely to wake up to. Breakfast (included) was adequate.

The hotel is in an excellent location just inside the wall of the old city. The hotel was sparkling clean and staff friendly and helpful. The rooms seem quite new and clean. Although a bit small, the rooms are comfortable and well thought out to maximize the space. There is a small, but efficient elevator. Future guests may want to request rooms facing the outside city wall which is a walkway around the inner old city with water views. We were street side and enjoyed the people watching from the big window in our room. Highly recommend this property. For the price it is a deal. I suggest doing breakfast on your own. The hotel is surrounded by pattiseries and great restaurants.

Very convenient situation for accessing from the railway station and the taxi rank for getting to the port or harbour.

enjoyed the meals locally, the shops were nice , It was a short walk to the ferry port.

Another great stay here. We stay every time we visit St Malo as the location inside the walls is very good. Price is always good, the room is comfortable, clean and has a nice shower. There are lots of very good restaurants nearby and the breakfast is superb for what you get and the price.

St Malo is a perfect destination for a channel crossing as it's so handily located. If you like history,markets or sea walks Dinan, Dinard and Mt St Michel are a must to visit.

We have stayed in Saint Malo many times. This is the best hotel in Saint Malo and the best two star French hotel we ever stayed in.
