A suberb, value-for-money, 4-star hotel in Powai. Outstanding 4-star service in an excellent location.

Everything was good except I was disappointed at the quality of WiFi service very slow. Most reputed hotels offer high quality WiFi service to the guests.

Bed length is not sufficient, and mattress was baas well. TV was not working etc Only positive is location

Rooms vary in size, amenities and quality of finishes so it is important to verify what you are booking for. It is an overall very good choice if one needs to be near the airport or in Powai. The Breakfast buffet at Meluha is very good, gym has good equipment and sauna, staff is generally gracious and the best part about the hotel is walkability and availability of sidewalk in the immediate vicinity of the hotel with a range of shopping and dining.

Excellent property had a great stay with my friends . Had booked 3 rooms with breakfast plan and since we had early morning flight did not realise that we would miss the breakfast which i have heard of meluha is one of the best compared to other star hotels . Special thanks to Manager monty who arranged a nice packed breakfast for me and friends as we left at 0500 am in the morning. Check out was smooth with a smiling farewell to us by Rhea and quick which we did not expect at 0500 am in the hotel. Stayed in many star hotels but never got 5 star service which i got in meluha. The hotel was recommended by my indian friends but i believe we did a good choice Thank you meluha ……….

As I arrived at 12 noon, I was given an early check-in as the room was available.

The location is good. The hotel is big and has all things that as traveller you need. All services are working well.

Good place to stay

Whatever problem you have, they try to bring solution. They have been kind and people, waiters and manager of the restaurant...also the keeping room stagg have been good.

The breakfast offering was average at best. The neighborhood also had very limited alternative dining options.

I tried to confirm multiple times if handicap accessible room present. Both emajl and phone calls were vague. We arrived middle of night and wheelchair would not fit into bathroom. We were moved to the only accessible room but was too small for additional bed so one person slept on floor. Just beware not a handicap accessible property.

This visit was good. Good service and overall very satisfied. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Clean place, we visited for one day for a function, it worked out well

1) We had signed up for a wintergreen room which was not what was allocated to us 2) The staff is more focused on collecting tips vs. actually providing service. Apart from the staff that waited on us during the breakfast buffet service, everyone else was focused on obtaining a quick tip. They should really focus on earning the tip vs demanding it 3) The room that was first provided was subpar and extremely dirty. There was mildew on the button to flush the toilet. The second room wasn't much better. Wifi connectivity was iffy and required multiple reach outs and trying different codes to access. Overall, this was our last stay at Meluha. We were extremely disappointed. This was the hotel where I met my wife and we were very keen on reliving the experience. This really soured us on Fern as a brand overall. Rodas, down the road, and from the same brand, provided way better service. Meluha could learn a thing or two from the team there

Service and staff are excellent. Non smoking room had a smokey smell.

-Poor service on arrival-Booked room with breakfast and they would only give without breakfast-Lost 1 hour after 23 hour flight and made to wait in the lobby.Issue rectified next day -Hot water was only Lukewarm -AC thermostat did not work properly, Housekeeping and restaurant Staff were excellent

Good stay with good service

Good location in Powai. Very receptive staff, always wanting to help & make your stay more comfortable. Two issues I think can be better are - house keeping standards were inconsistent. We had 2 rooms for 4 nights & they would regularly forget to keep certain things in the room after cleaning for e.g tea cups. Secondly breakfast service can definitely be better. You can’t make you own black tea even, you have to ask someone & It takes a while for them for them to get it because lots of people are asking for food items from the live station. Sometimes they forget. And as a minor irritant, the rooms we had could have done with better lighting.

Got a room for smokers without warning. Impossible to find English speaking tv channels. No menu for massages for spa in room.

I will NOT be staying at this hotel ever again. I was in Mumbai for two weeks and stayed at three separate hotels during the trip. This hotel was by far the most disappointing – not just in terms of their service – but I also got robbed off USD 1000 from my room. Service: 1. The night I checked in, I placed an order with the front desk for two beers to be sent over to the room. The beers never showed up. 2. During the stay, I requested for additional dental kits and bathing gown – twice – and was assured it would be taken care of, but never was. Investigating the USD 1000 (10 x USD 100 bills) that went missing from my room: The CCTV footage had chunks of time missing from the recordings + the key-card log had the time-stamps all wrong (it showed me as having accessed the room hours before I even checked in!). The Duty Manager tried to intimidate me and questioned how he could trust I even had the money on me (!!). NOT a 5-star hotel - and far from a 5-star level of service. Unprofessional and untrustworthy. I will never consider staying at a Fern property again.

Pluses - Location, safety, 24x7 restaurant on premises. Minus - Bedroom could have had tiles too instead of carpet.
