Nice basic hotel. Room was small but clean. Food tasty but basic. Place to stay at an economical price. Recommended.

We booked a room with a balcony and lovely sea view, but we could not sit on the balcony because when opened the balcony door, insects would immediately enter the room. We went inside and shut the balcony doors, but later we saw that there were hundreds of small insects on the ceiling. It was late, but the staff gave us a new room. In the new room, there were also insects, but not as many. We asked to change rooms again, but nothing was available. The staff handed us a can of insect repellent, telling us we could spray the room. At check-out we expressed our dissatisfaction. The receptionist was rude and never apologized . He told us to call Expedia if we had a complaint. We won´t return to this hotel.

The hotel was lovely but our room was a little cramped, the bed ended about 6 inches from the wall. Otherwise it was well kept, staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good too

The hotel is really well situated across the road (train tracks) to the beach. The staff are very friendly and the hotel itself is lovely. My only negative point is that the water pressure in the shower is very poor. Other than that I would highly recommend this hotel and I would definitely visit again if I was in the area

Staff was very very nice! Food was super, for example great paella for a lunch, a lot of fishes, etc. Hotel is very near to beach and centre. For this good cheap price is I think the best you can get.

Main negative issue for me was the poor sound insulation between rooms. Others include, lumpy pillows, WiFi didn't reach bedroom on 3rd floor and no free drinking water at breakfast or dinner. On a positive note, good location for beach and clean facilities.

Shocking would NEVER go back.They treat their guests terribly including shouting and belittling them in front of all the other guests. Would give 2 out of 10 for the food. Rooms basic but noisy in evenings with a drilling noise late at night.Wifi only works in limited areas around reception. You are charged extra for safe keys and data in your room.If you want to watch TV which only has one E English channel, you will have to pay a deposit of 20€.You are also expected to clean up after your meals and dont ask anyone how things work in the self service restaurant as you get ignored or shouted at. Would rather pay extra and be treated with respect ,as a paying client should.

The room was spotless and quiet and I really couldn’t fault it. The only gripe I could have with this hotel is there were no vegetarian foods available at lunch or dinner. I accept that’s my ‘awkwardness’ and can honestly say that if you were a meat eater, it was practically perfect.

Good location near beach. Close walk to town. Nice room with balcony. Free wifi in public area but very slooow. 15 min free wifi in room every 24 hours but you can pay. Food adequate but uninspiring. Overall, very pleased for the price paid. Will stay again.

When we entered the room, the floor was dirty. I asked to clean, however, the floor under the beds remained dirty, no signs even of vacuum-cleaner. No soap-dish in the bathroom, so we had hardly useable slushy mass instead of piece of soap every evening (I imagine the work for the cleaning lady!). The walls are so thin that we heard the neighbours brush their teeth and then snort. The breakfasts and dinners were just OK given the price but I would prefer some variations (we stayed 4 nights). Drinks at dinner were for charge. The real advantage is the sea view (for those who have it).

Stayed for two nights in the junior suite. Location is a bit far from train station, inconvenient if you have luggage + raining; Clean and spacey room, yet the view is far below average; Poor service, impolite and unhelpful staff, terrible experience. Breakfast food is awful and low quality. Very unlikely to visit again.

Kā ciemos pie vecmāmiņas! Segas kādreiz lāpītas, bet tagad atkal saplīsušas, zem palaga paklāta bieza čaukstoša plēve, lai nepiečurā matraci. Bīdāmās skapja durvis nebīdās, jo izlekušas no sliedēm - pats salaboju. Istabā nedega lampa. Izņēmu izdegušo spuldzi un aiznesu uz recepciju, lai samaina. Tas vīrietis ilgi brīnījās un pētīja, līdz aizpildīja formulāru un pievienoja izdegušo spuldzi. Teica, ka rīt sataisīšot. Pēc 5 dienām, kad atkal viņu redzēju, prasīju, kur ir? Teica, ka daudz darba, aizmirsis! Katru rītu 8.00 kāds sāk bīdīt mēbeles - skan pa visu hoteli. Izrādās apkopēja mazgā grīdu! Un tā katru rītu! Kronis visam, ka wc/dušā nav paredzēta ventilācija! Ēdiens diezgan vienveidīgs, lai gan ir ko izvēlēties. Īsta pavāra tur nav! Piedāvātais baltvīns vienkārši nedzerams! Sirmā īpašniece tik sēž recepcijā un laimīgi smaida. Mēs arī! Ja viss aprakstītais netraucē, tad finansiāli izdevīgs hotelis!

hotel needs upgrading,good choice of food at meal times,staff very good.

The hotel rooms are old and tired. If you want to watch to you have to pay €20.00 which is refunded at the end of your stay. The food is very cold and bland. The waiting staff are lovely and friendly but the night receptionist was a total nightmare and was really rude. On my last night there, there was a full blown fight going on and no staff intervened or called security. I just stayed locked in my room. When I told reception in the morning about it, all I got in response was 'oh'

crisp clear pool..on a 4 day stay food wonderfull..opposite beach..helpfull happy staff..during meal service chef was out and talking to people had to comment on the paella crème brulee

Nice budget hotel at a good location. The room was adequate with a balcony. There was a charge for WiFi in your room although they allowed you 15 minutes free daily. Free wifi in common areas but not very good. The food was fairly basic with not much choice. That said, I enjoyed it! I would definitely stay again and enjoyed the experience. Friendly staff. Well worth considering.

We had a problem with our room on the first night, but they immediately changed our room the next day and our seaview room for our 2nd night was superb. Breakfast was really good.

The Free Wifi was a bit rubbish & you had to sit near reception to get it to work at all, Paying 5 Euros a day for access elsewhere is a bit dated really these days, should be free & reliable as in most places as standard. Overall a nice Hotel though, would recommend for the price!

Cheap and cheerful, very clean in a good location. Calella is a pedestrian friendly town with plenty of restaurants and shops and only 40mns to the GP circuit and Barcelona a further 15mns. Rooms come in three styles - standard, suite (larger room/balconies) and front facing all are presented clean (daily) and tidy.The standard and suites do not have the best views. Staff are very helpful and friendly some speak several languages. The restaurant is a buffet style service of salad or meat/veg or pasta unfortunately this is often cold (straight from the kitchen) and not the most appetising a microwave is supplied. While we were there a number of school coaches arrived which resulted in some noise from the balconies until late unfortunately no one wanted to take charge! WiFi was free in the public areas but very poor.

having a son who loves trains and a daughter who loves the sea,,,,a wife like most who likes shopping.haromar was great for us.railway and beach within hopping distance.very quiet location even though right on the front...aircon in room was good very quiet compared to some i have had......good breakfast if you get up early enough,your own fault if you miss out...i did,overslept a few times.would we go again,(me,wife and 2 young and 2 older kids)most definetely......loved every minute of are stay.....

Stayed for just one night after getting an excellent deal thro' hotels.com. Walls are paper thin but everything else was fine. Breakfast is the usual fare. Excellent beach view from our room and close to all amenities.

Incredibly noisy room meant no sleep for the nights we were there. That said we felt particularly engaged with our neighbours and their child despite having never met them.The hot breakfast was curious in the way it was served cold. Of course the incorrect information given on breakfast timings meant on the first morning it wasn't "enjoyed" at all.Check in is a lengthy process seemingly taking about 20 minutes per party. It allows for extensive exploration of the reception area however.
