The staff are amazing at this property, they go above and beyond and are an asset. Beautiful rooms and grounds, very clean. Lovely food you must try the Sri Lankan breakfast.Only negatives, the beach is not suitable for swimming but Dalawella beach is a 1km walk which was lovely. And the building works next door were very noisy. We booked a private pool suite but we’re unable to enjoy our pool due to the construction noise. This would usually have been enough to make me leave but everything else was just perfect and more than made up for it.We will be back!

This was a beautiful hotel with lovely, attentive and helpful staff. Everyone there works so hard. The rooms are amazing! The hotel is not too big so it’s never overcrowded, infact it felt like we had the place to ourselves some days! I never tried out the restaurant as it is heavily seafood based so not great for vegans but the breakfasts were good and I was catered for. Location is good on the beach, we walked both ways but preferred walking a long to the right, climb over the rocks or wall if you can where the pipe is and keep going. Nice little area to explore :-)

Jetwing was a perfect hotel for us! Beautifully located, outstanding Sri Lankan+Western food, charming interior + very clean and amazing service from the hotel employees! Especially Sanjeevan, Roshan, Dinesh and Mahesh were very great in making our stay amazing and added to the perfect time we had in the hotel. Totally recommended. Very idyllic & modern place in the middle of the Jungle. Outstanding Sri Lankan food & great hotel stuff, which was very helpful during our stay.

We had booked a suite but we had to shift to another of their properties in Galle because the suite wasnt in a good shape or ready

Relaxing stay coupled with warm, intimate service only possible in a small property (5 suites only in tastefully restored seaside villa). Staff were all fantastic!

Gorgeous hotel with fantastic secluded beach right in front. Easy to visit Galle from there. Great service, great food. Loved it.

This hotel is so beautiful and is exactly like their pictures. We've stayed in hotels all over the world and this is really something special. The staff are wonderful. They are really helpful but they also leave you alone when you want to just relax and enjoy the views. The food is top quality and everything is fresh. There are only a few guests so we always had the pool to ourselves and the beach in front is empty and beautiful. I wish I could live there!

The refreshing drink on arrival was very welcoming as were the staff... but.the room was not as described on the website nor was the photo!!! When asked where the room was that was shown on the website I was told they didnt have one like it there! The bedroom I had was,as all other rooms,one with a seaview which would have been nice to appreciate but because of a communal balcony meant that you had to close the curtains for privacy! Perhaps it would make more sense to have wooden venetian blinds that are both easier to clean ,more in keeping with the rest of the surroundings and allows guests to actually enjoy the seaview with privacy. Grubby curtains both on the windows and around the bed..unhygienic blanket on the bed..perhaps a washable quilt would be more pleasant. No accessible socket for the kettle.Blind over window into bathroom doesnt fit. The bathroom leaked from various points in the ceiling...had no ventilation...water r remained in a puddle in the shower base so was very unhygienic.......the mirror was in the most bizarre place..no soap... and shampoo etc presented in tired tatty box.No bath robes ..and 'slippers' were pre.worn flipflops. The staff do their best with what they have but overall it needs attention particularly in cleanliness and a little more effort in making it not so tired looking. The location of the hotel is idyllic and its a shame that it doesnt maximise its potential,

This was the only room they had for us and so we refused it. Luckily, Jetwing owns another property about 15 minutes down the road called Mosvold Villas. This is a 6 room boutique hotel, and we stayed there at the same rate. It was an easy transition, but a little disappointing given that the Jetwing Era Beach looked nice and we typically like to stay in bigger places. If we go back to Galle we'll most likely stay in the Jetwing Lighthouse or the Fortress. The staff didn't give us any trouble at all over the whole thing and the rooms looked like they were taken care of, although the rooms at Mosvold were bigger and nicer. Not a bad experience overall.

Jetwing era hotel is a very quiet comfortable hotel-an oasis!. The sea view rooms are very large,clean and well appointed. The staff are extremely friendly, very efficient and always ready to help.I loved my stay and will definately return
