Great location with perfect amenities

It was ok, car parking excellent, we have stayed before, it was much more expensive this time. Skirting in bathroom dusty, aircon only goes down to 19 degrees and very noisey if windows opened, cold tap in bthroom runs warm water otherwise good, would stay again if in that area.

This inn is a little gem set in the heart of London. Location is excellent for visiting Kew Gardens. It's a bonus to have underground parking. Decor is amazing and food excellent. Staff are very helpful and friendly

This antique house style hotel is located in a relaxed small town environment, right next to the Royal Botanic Garden, and close to river Thames. It is also on a few bus routes, makes the commute to airport or London very easy, do not need to worry about driving or parking. Thanks for the nice staff and clean environment, I would definitely recommend it!

It’s a nice and convenient hotel but the AC in the room never worked in a very hot day. They brought us a fan but we were still a little uncomfortable because we had to keep the window open and it was noisy outside. The staff was very apologetic and they gave us a nice credit but I do think the property needed maintenance and it was overlooked for a while since they told us it wasn’t the first time it had happened. Overall it was a good experience with mild discomfort.

This is quite a special little gem. The front desk greeting was so nice, Alicia. The room well appointed, the sheets were crisp and so lovely I felt badly we were only staying one night. The breakfast was delicious - the service truly terrific! We will return! Thank you!

Staff gets a 5 star, tube system 10 min walk, buses short distance. Park and Thames within walking distance, shopping mall 10 min walk. These accommodations had everything a hotel would have. Very dog friendly with snacks. Area very comfortable. My complaint was air conditioner didn't function and room very warm, staff worked hard in getting it to function ultimately relying on a fan, tube/ train system had disruption for the Richmond area which was a bit of a hiccup but no fault of the hotel. It's an older but comfortable Inn and customer service and staff are terrific and helpful

Rooms lovely, breakfast - lots of choice and well prepared, pub - so no need for long walks to get refreshments - staff always available and so exceptionally helpful and polite Location for Kew is brilliant 👍

Very friendly service and comfortable rooms

Very happy stay here. Great location for Kew Gardens and the National Archives (both a short walk away) and the Thames just up the road for boat rides up to Westminster. Very comfortable bed (slept like a log for two nights). Food was excellent. Breakfast there was a wide variety of choice and for a very pleasant change from the usual these days, there was a menu to choose from rather than the same old, same old boring buffet. (For that reason alone, I would stay here again).The full English was top notch ,as was the eggs benedict and the haddock and eggs. Evening time, not a massive menu but the quality of the lamb pie, the steak, the chicken liver parfait to name but three was as excellent as the breakfast. Plenty of beers on offer and great selection of whisky. Also, although we stayed mid-week, each night the whole pub had a good number of people eating and at the bar which created a lovely atmosphere. Finally, all the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful, especially so the breakfast manager and there is also very convenient parking on site. In summary, I highly recommend The Coach & Horses.

Overall fantastic stay

This hotel is a home away from home. Comfortable, warm and a beautiful boutique style. Clean, tidy and quiet. I felt safe as a solo traveller and able to venture out in the area with ease. Kew Gardens was a must and did not disappoint. A 5 minute walk from the hotel at most. I want to give the biggest shout of to the sensational Alisha at reception. Full of kindness, warmth and beauty. A gem. And….. the Roast Dinner was 5 star. I will be back for sure.

Arrived and was greeted to a lovely receptionist. Room was chic and cosy. Nice bathroom with large bath. Damage to some of the carpets but I wouldn’t mark down for this. Lovely restaurant and pub below with lots of food and drink choices and reasonable prices. Great location and shortish walk to Richmond if you like getting some steps in. Definitely will be returning here for another stay in the future.

Unique decor , very large rooms Large comfortable bed with extremely frieldly staf They were angelic , Alicia , Hanna , mandy and i didnt get all their names .we will be back as we felt very much at home . Thank you so much for looking after us during our stay .

From the moment we walked in until when we left, we were meet by friendly staff at every step. The room was well laid out with the mini-bar and other goodies. All in all, made for a very pleasant stay.

A very nice hotel in a great location, right on Kew Green. Staff were generally friendly. We didn’t eat there as we wanted to try one of the other options. Kew Gardens are an easy walk away as is the river.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Parking at the hotel was a bonus in Kew. Breakfast was good plenty of choice. Would like to see toast and marmalade offered. Tea was served randomly from conventional pots to bags in the cup with no saucer? Seemed understaffed at times. However I would return as it has a very friendly atmosphere and very convenient.

We stayed one night but next time would certainly stay longer. Traditional, comfortable room but also modern. Very useful welcome much than corporate hotels. Friendly and welcoming reception staff also contributed to our enjoyment.
