The room was very cozy and spacious. We had no issues with noise even though we were on the first floor. The guesthouse is well located and the staff were very helpful!

A beautiful room with modern shower located in the heart of downtown Bordeaux, yet on a quiet side street. Wonderful breakfast! Highly recommended.

The room was nice, clean, country-chic and charming. It’s has a small balcony when my husband and I had a vine and cheese. Great location on a quiet street but close the historical center of the beach Boudreaux.

Situated on small narrow street -very noisy in the evening,I found the spiral staircase difficult , breakfast was basic. Cleanliness of room not good.

What a beautiful guest house. The welcome and information we received from the host was fantastic. She sat us down and went over all the attractions and transport. She showed us to our room and informed us to give her a call if we needed anything. I made the mistake of booking the suite which consisted of two rooms, so if you were a group of four this would be ideal. Just be aware it is on the 2nd floor with no lift and steep but beautiful stairs. There were 2 tram stations within a 5-minute walk, and only 2 tram stops to the main train station St Jean and a 20-minute ride from the airport. The cafes, restaurants and shops were all nearby as well as the attractions. Breakfast was sufficient all served at your table. Would absolutely stay here again.

Nice and cosy, close to major attractions, plenty dining and going out places around. Place was clean, very traditional french style. Do recommend the room with a balcony to sit outside 👍

The rooms were really sweet and quaint and we loved the little balcony. Breakfast was very nice and the location was great and very quiet at night Our only issue was the Wi-Fi. It just didn’t work.

The area is very convenient. Since there is no lift, it was exhausting to walk two flights of stairs with heavy luggage. The accomodation was very good.

Beautiful and spacious room. Very clean and well stocked. Host was incredibly welcoming, accessible and helpful. She even booked an early taxi to the airport for us. Don’t walk from the train station, take a cab. Once at the property the walk to the center, shops, river is very close and easy to navigate.

This B&B is well located for the centre of Bordeaux but a short walk on a quiet street. Our Maquis de Termes room was spacious with a comfortable Queen bed, and a small balcony which was pleasant to sit on in the sunshine. The hotel is well connected for the hotel bus and tram network. I didn't realise check-in was 5-8pm but so after calling me to let me know they sent me entry details by whatsapp which were straight forward to use. Breakfasts a mix of pastries, meats, cheese, cereals etc and a good amount of food. On our last day we appreciated they left us a packed breakfast in the room fridge as we had an early flight. Would definitely return. The only thing which could have been improved was the housekeeping. There wasn't a spare toilet roll in the room (so I took one from the communal toilet half way through our stay when we needed it). Also, the shower was spraying water from one of the joints which meant the bath mat outside the shower was soaked all the time. I expected they would have topped up the toilet roll and maybe changed the bathmat (or fixed the shower) but it was still on the floor where we left them each day. There was a radiator we used to dry it out but I don't think it was ever fully dry. Otherwise we had a great stay and I would recommend this place to others.

Central but was in a shoddy street.

The main pro is the location. We stayed in Marquis de Terme for 4 nights. There were for places the walks were patched and not painted over (one covered by an oddly placed picture). The head board was stained. The mirror frame was broken. The desk was stained. So were the pillowcases. The wardrobe has a shelf in the middle, so you can’t hang anything longer than a shirt. And the wine cellar mentioned on the website may exist but staff don’t tell you about it and so there is no way to get a bottle. There is no area to enjoy one anyway.

Les Chambres au coeur de Bordeaux was a lovely place to visit. We chose to return one more time. The breakfast was lovely. Rooms wee charming and beds SOOO comfortable. A vey restfull sleep The hosts were kind and helpsome. Will highly recommend the place.

What charming hotel in such a classy city!

The property is lovely but the room was quite small and crowded. Our main issue was the poor ventilation in the bathroom which meant the room was constantly humid. The air conditioning did not work very well in the room. The host was very helpful and gave us excellent advice on sights and transport in the area. The location is very good, around the corner from the Hotel de Ville and Cathedral.

What a beautiful boutique hotel! Such a welcoming space and fabulous for a family with 2 young children. We were warmly welcomed to the property and shown to our room, which had separate sleeping space for our 2 children. The room had a gorgeous balcony and was clean and had all that we required. Great bathroom, my only issue is the shower is a bit weak...I love a good shower but it is still adequate. Breakfast downstairs was lovely. Simple but absolutely delicious and served by happy welcoming people. Loved this hotel and would highly recommend it and if ever in Bordeaux, would stay again.

What a gem! This beautiful property is perfectly located in the heart of the historic part of Bordeaux. We were minutes away from wonderful food, entertainment and history. The staff is so friendly and breakfast was great. Our family strongly recommends staying here - we will again next time we visit!
